this home provided tons of space and comfort for three couples getting together in the Harrisonburg area. the kitchen is well stocked, the front porch inviting and each couple had their own bathroom. definitely a winner. the host communicates well.

The place looked really good on the vrbo website, and it was just as nice in real life. There is a large, inviting porch looking over Harrisonburg and the nearby mountains, the rooms and beds were comfortable, and the parking could be managed for several cars, with room for more on the street. With family and friends collecting at the property, it really felt like home. The property was well supplied (though we did run out of paper towels), and we easily solved a minor ant intrusion during our stay. Would definitely recommend, and would stay there ourselves again should the occasion arise.

We had a great visit to Harrisonburg. The property is clean and well maintained. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Neighbors are close but sunrise is great. Thanks again, if we come back to the area we we strongly consider staying here again!

I stayed at this home with my immediately family (husband and 2 daughters, 8yo and 4yo). Additionally, my parents, sister and her two sons (7yo and 5mo) stayed in the home. We were in Harrisonburg for my niece’s 1st birthday. Their home was just minutes away- which was bonus #1. The house was actually much nicer than the pictures depict! Amazing views, rooms flooded with natural light, and tons and tons of space- bonus #2, particularly for our kids. The house came stocked even with coffee, filters, and other kitchen things that not all rentals have (cooking oil, spices, dish soap, etc). Our stay only being a few days, this was great! There was more than enough space to prep and cook much of the food for the birthday party and bring to my sister’s house still warm (bonus #3). And there was still space to make DYI decorations and allow the kids to run around. The home was very clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars on “cleanliness” is because some of the towels appeared to have bleach stains on them. This is quite honestly the only negative thing I have to say though. The owner even honored a last minute request for a late check out (12 noon)- Bonus #4! I’d definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Harrisonburg. A great little town with tons of different things- a hidden gem….once you get over all the fields of cows ;-)

We absolutely loved our stay in Harrisonburg…and this house was a wonderful place for us to gather on Christmas Day. Lots of room and an awesome kitchen and open places for us to sit and visit!

Beautiful, clean, spacious home tucked in a hillside overlooking Harrisonburg and the mountains beyond. Covered porch space did not disappoint! Steep driveway with limited parking, but didn’t create any problems we couldn’t overcome. Would happily stay again!
