Karadut Pansiyon Nemrut

Karadut Panisyon is in a great setting with below par accommodations. If you are on a budget stay here for one or two nights. If you are looking to be out of the city and near Mount Nemrut, stay here. Other then that the accommodations are well below par.

This place is in a small village and can be described as rustic. Not for anyone looking for luxury. Excellent value, and the dinner they provided was very good.

The place is very convenient. The staff knows what the traveler wants as most probably the guests are here for Mount Nemrut. They organized a driver to the Mount Nemrut for the sunset (please take your coat - it is so cold up there!!!). Next morning, Mehmet organised and drove me back to Kahta town via Cendere Bridge, Kahta Castle and Roman sculpture (Arsemia Ören Yeri). Although I came here alone, I had a good value as well as able to visit all the main sites within a day. My limited time has been used wisely. Regarding the transportation to get there- I had a minibus from Kahta to Karadut village. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent - the view was also very nice. I have noted that the previous people were complaining about hot water however I had hot water- It was absolutely fine.

It was the perfect place to visit Nemrut. The best thing is the location to get to Nemrut before the sunrise and again before the sunset. The breakfast was good (invluded in the very inexpensive price of the room) and I ordered dinner and it was very tasty and satisfying, as well as inexpensive. The room and the bathroom were very clean, and the staff was very helpful - the check in at night was amazingly easy! We arrived after 10 pm and a staff person was right there, gave us the keys and led us to the room. They didn’t ask for passports or anything. We were really thankful for that, as we had plans to wake up at 3:30 am yo drive to Nemrut to see the sunrise. We came back at 7 am and had breakfast in the wonderful, shady patio. My friends went to the room to sleep and I stayed in the outdoors Turkish living room they set up in the patio under the shade of the trees, reading and surfing the net. The wifi is surprisingly strong but didn’t work in the rooms on the second floor. It was okay though. What could be improved was the water pressure of the shower. I would also love to add an electrical socket or 2 in the room (only one in the room for three people)m, a shelf in the bathroom to put your clothes and a hanger for the towels. Overall, I loved it and I would go again. Very highly recommended . I just can’t believe this is such a great place for such a small amount of money. Very friendly staff also.

Wonderful and friendly staff, great location, wonderful breakfast buffet and great cook who makes dinner.

It is difficult to get to with no public transport past kahta but the owners go out of their way to help. They are basic but comfortable facilities. Be aware of locals who will try to rip you off to take you there

There is a guy there, named Mehmet, who is responsible for the place. Actually he is not alone, his brother and father help him. He is friendly and very patient with visitors. The pension is near to five historical places and they are amazing. Mehmet would transfer you to all of them. Surely, not for free! However, it worths.

Nice cheap little place to stay . Beds clean but cleaning of rooms needed a woman's, touch. Old and only very basic. Good if on budget as the owners were very nice and accommodating

The owners was very helpful and arranged hotel pick up and private car.
