El Encanto All Inclusive Resort at Hacienda Encantada

Far enough away from downtown Cabo and out of the craziness but only a short shuttle drive away if we wanted to go into town

Everything was amazing! The details, service, the views!

Overall I thought the property was excellent. the grounds were beautiful, the room was clean and spacious. we were disappointed with the level of service which was provided to us by a number of the staff. Apparently there are different levels of guests. we did the all inclusive because I wanted to be treated well without being presented with a bill for every little thing we ate, drank or did. the challenge is this. they do give you a bill to sign for every little thing with a tip section, no matter of it is just a bottle of water. the quality of booze at the all inclusive level is very basic. if you wanted to upgrade to a shot of Jack Daniels, it was 11 us dollars. Tito's vodka in your drink, an extra 14 dollars. started to feel like I did not get the best quality. They have a little golf cart shuttle service which was questionable at best since often times they never showed up. Hate to be a whiner about this type of stuff, but they need to step up their game.

Overall we happy with the resort...great food...great staffs especially the waiter named Enrique...he’s awesome ! We’re so impressed with his great services..however, we had a little problem with the front desk...when we booked the trip through Expedia we paid extra for 1 king bed and ocean view...when we checked in the resort they gave us the room with 2 queen beds and partial ocean view...when my husband went to the front desk they claimed that the room that we had the resort consider as a ocean view...in which for us it was partially ocean view...and then about the bed they told us that it was based on availability in which we totally disagreed because when we booked it it didn’t said anywhere that was based on availability...the resort said they will have to check with the Expedia to see what went wrong...and another thing when we booked it said that we got $100 resort credit...so we decided to use on the spa...so when we checked out the front desk told us no..according to the resort policy we supposed to use $40 for food upgraded...$40 for spa...and $20 for activities in Cabo! So I told the front desk guy that to me it wasn’t right how come on Expedia didn’t mentioned that...when we’re getting the resort fees us as the consumer assumed that we can use how ever we wanted it..it didn’t said the price break down at all...the front desk should have the staffs that has plenty knowledge or they should co-ordinated with Expedia better...

Our favorite vacation destination we have ever visited

Very advantageously situated atop Whale point. Best panoramic view of total bay . Main restaurant has cliffside tables over crashing waves below. The facility has tripled in size in 6 years. Once it’s allowed 100 capacity, the menu size will be outstanding. Ok for now.

The property was beautiful. Location was great. Only about 5-10 minutes from downtown and the marina. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Easy to stroll the property to visit its many pool and hot tub options. The property sits on the ocean but it doesn’t have easy access to the water due to the rocky shoreline that is on the coastal side of the property. Getting to a beach is easy and less then a five minute drive. The hotel staff is friendly and personable. The restaurants have excellent food and great options.

Choosing to travel during a pandemic for us was a risky decision bordering on crazy. After arriving at Hacienda Encantada the stress melted away off into the distance. Masks, sanitizers, people and luggage disinfectant washers, all precautions are taken to be as safe as possible. Staff were incredibly friendly with Neri, Miguel, and Carlos being the standouts among an exceptional group. After meeting once they were on a first name basis with us and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. We booked a 1-bedroom suite which I can't speak highly enough of, other facilities were excellent as well. Restaurants are good if lacking a little variety but hey, it's a pandemic, cut them some slack. Never did go but would have liked to visit the sister property for different food options... I guess we saved that for next time as we will definitely go back. Highly recommended for the excellent staff, multiple pool choices, fantastic facilities, and if you're looking for an away-from-downtown quite place to soak up sun.
