Retro Hotel

hard to find the entrance. no indication outside the train station. breakfast too small. location is good, next to metro and train station.

1. Air con out of order, room is hotter than the street if not open the windows. Fixed twice doesn't help. 2. Staff allows strangers and beggars get in the hotel 3. Not always has a staff at reception at the evening, door is opened and lift has no lock. you know how dangerous it is. 4. Some staff is not helpful. (not all of them) 5. hot room + no water boiler + no refrigerator means I have to get out the room to get a drink in frequent 6. False alarm rings at ~2:45am scared out all the residents, staff is not going to walk through each floor to explain and ease the scared out ladies (some of them cries!). Warning message in russian from the speakers further scared the people. Most of the residents are foreigners, don't understand why there is no english announcement to explain it was a false alarm. 7. The breakfast taste is OK, but small as a small snacks. The restaurant is not even in the train station, so don't waste time to have the breakfast especially you rely on that for a half day. 8. Inconvenience location lacks guidance to the hotel from metro station 9. After the train station closed at midnight you could never get back to the hotel.

Request Hotels.com to remove from your listing so that other tourists don’t suffer. Our 2 rooms for 3 nights were not cleaned even for a day, air conditioning doesn’t work and we were promised a refund by the front desk officer which never happened. Sad housekeeping, sorry rooms with no hot kettle and sad breakfast. Total no no as staff is unaccomodative.
