Casa Rainbow Sitges

This is not a hotel. It’s just 5 rooms above a ground floor bar. My room, a double, was compact. One wardrobe was too close to the bed so that it couldn’t open properly and the other with a clothes-rail that kept falling down - without any clothes on it. But the room was reasonably well apportioned. I had no bath, but a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink, a flat screen tv and WiFi. My room overlooked a ‘courtyard’; but that’s barely half the story! There is no housekeeping. Towels don’t get changed and the rooms don’t get cleaned. On the 4th day I text the ‘manager’ (not sure what she manages), asking for the room to be cleaned; towels to be replaced etc. She left the towels on my bed, that’s it. The bathroom towel radiator was filthy dirty on arrival, as was the shower unit exterior. There’s no reception. I arrived after midnight and received the main door entry code by text. Location, this is great. Everything is within walking distance. Breakfast consists of tea or coffee, a cold croissant, and orange juice. Butter (cold and hard from the fridge) is available on request. I ate there just the once! I was invited to provide feedback, but my gentle constructive criticism was met with a tirade of aggressive justifications highlighting the lazy management and cash-focused owners. Without amenities or service; this is just a cramped, overpriced, unmanaged, dirty room in the centre of Sitges. Potentially great; reality awful. Stop promoting this property.

Room was not cleaned, had to ask for room to be cleaned and bed linen changed. Very noisy at night.

Great location. Nice room touches. AC worked well. A bit stingy on towels and no housekeeping during my three night stay. I'd stay there again!

This was a nice, clean and comfortable room. Cathy's very nice and even helped me deal with noisy guests in the middle of the night. The central location is fantastic, but word of warning, DO NOT stay in this area if you have things to do in the morning. All the party animals outside won't respect that. This doesn't take away from the fact that it's a great place and good value for money if you don't mind sleeping in.

A clean, quite, safe room with air-con and a big comfortable bed. Wifi also fast with strong signal. Many cafes within walking distance to go and get breakfast. Didn't see any staff during my stay but that is fine with me. Good communication through phone so I knew all the codes for the doors and how things worked. Would stay again. Great for the price.

CATHERINE was lovely. I arrived early and she was there to meet me and allow an early check in. The location of this property is superb. The beach is practically across the street. Room also features safety deposit box/ smart TV and fridge. Above all else the location is fantastic. Will be back. Thanks CATHERINE!

It has to be that this place is well situated and we found it to be comfy but it did lack some essentials such as coffee and tea making facilities, iron and ironing board. Although very clean when we arrived it was only cleaned once in the 5 days we were there and the bathroom was never cleaned at all. Still, great place to stay if you're on a budget as it's certainly value for money. Great place to be for the festival times as you get to see the processions coming through the streets from the room balcony.

Rooms look like they were renovated the last couple of years, clean and perfectly located next to the beach whilst close to the heart of Sitges. Just take note that there is no reception, you must call to make an appointment to be let into the building and proceed with normal check in. In my experience I had to wait for around 30mins after my initial call, so I opt out in leaving my luggage there on my last day as I did not want to risk having to wait to get to my luggage when it was time to go. But maybe it was a one off thing, still it was minor inconvenience but it all worked out ok.
