Disappointed, it was SOO overrated!

Our experience was not good, two of the three windows did not work, the one that did the screen kept blowing in, dead bugs, floors not clean, top bedding smelled musty, signage beside the jacuzzi tub to reuse bath water if using more than once a day, the amazing spread of pastries and baked goods was a jar of dry cookies that were burnt on the bottom, mold around the shower, only instant coffee offered after breakfast, the kitchen was VERY disorganized and dirty, fire pit outside sitting on a leaf filled wooden deck-unusable and to top it all off, the electric went out overnight, generator was apparently not working, so they went door to door waking guests at 7am wanting to know if we had jumper cables, they went into our room when we weren’t there-not sure why as the bed was not straightened, no new towels and they left our door hang wide open with our belongings and valuables inside and the only choice for breakfast was our flavor of juice, the rest was decided for us, a cup of apples and bananas, an apple pastry ( I swear it was a frozen one heated) a square of baked scrambled eggs and a little piece of sausage. I mean is this how a place advertised as a luxury inn typically is? Are bed and breakfasts like this? We spent $650 for 2 nights at this place, and there is only one thing I liked, and that was the view from the porch, but never ever again. Do your homework, we passed and saw so many beautiful and well maintained inns, cabin rentals etc, spend your money elsewhere!

We had a wonderful stay at north fork mountain. Ed, the host was the very best. The scenery from the front porch is breathtaking. The food prepared with love by Ed and carol was superb. So much to do around the place if you’re a natire lover or hiker. If you’re not a Walker , you can see so much just riding around! Great place to stay

Such a hidden treasure! My teenaged daughters and I enjoyed our private cabin in the woods with wrap-around decks on three sides. Breakfast by Ed in the lodge was delicious. A true respite from stress.

Lovely Hideaway

Great customer service, wonderful food - had to stay an extra day due to being snowed in but not an issue, wonderful place am planning to go again.

Ed was awesome and made our stay very comfortable. He served us with great food and wine. I highly recommend this place for romantic getaways.

Everything was really nice but each room needs a TV and there needs to be better parking, especially for handicap people.

Best B&B food.

The food was excellent. We had dinner every night and even had a nice wine tasting. Also got the picnic lunch which I would recommend. Great place to stay if you enjoy hiking since great trail heads near by. The room was nice and included very soft towels. If you like to watch humming birds, the front porch is the place.
