Hostal Arriaza

Its a hostel so we cannot expect more in the end. Is quite and reasonable clean, good location, but expensive for what they offer. if you need a place just to crash for a night or two is fine.

I stayed in the double room, so I had my own sink and shower in the room, and there was were 2 shared toilets. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and their policy of quiet after midnight was great. The location was excellent- very close to the palace, and the train station. It was easy to walk around central Madrid from here. The only negative is no elevator, so two flights of stairs to do with luggage. At check in, they were very kind and helped me though. I would stay here again, and recommend it.

Very nice stay at this neat and clean hostel. It’s located on the second floor and is beside a NICE coffee shop. The manager is really helpful and speaks some English. He taught me a helpful Spanish phrase to get a beer. 😀 Would highly recommend! This was my first hostel experience and it was more private than I expected.

The location was perfect, sharing a bathroom can be a little set back, however, a shower is in the room.
