Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff and the room was very modern and comfortable

Bar and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Service in the restaurant was excellent. Service at the reception was a mixed bag. Sometimes actively unhelpful, bordering on rude. There’s a massive big green fire exit sign in the bedroom which shines throughout the night.

In Room 4 be preparedness

Amazing location, 5* breakfast and dinner. Staff were all fab. Room was brilliant. Parking was as expected - 5 min walk down the road but wasn’t an issue.we would highly recommend.

The positives are that the room and common areas were clean and tidy. The breakfast was very good, as was the restaurant in the bar area (including the menu choices). The location is excellent with a popular photo spot of the harbour literally across the road. The negatives are that the price is extremely high for what you get. A premier room at the Grosvenor Dubai is about the same price. The other negative that I must mention is that the room (No. 1) has very little or no sound proofing. You are right beside the stairwell and you hear everyone using it. If you’re a light sleeper you will also be awakened by the 6 or 7 am deliveries at the Co-Op across the street.

We stayed three nights at The Bosville and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great base for visiting Skye but more importantly a great atmosphere and very welcoming hotel. We have already recommended this hotel to others and have no hesitation in doing so here. Great food, great staff, great experience. Linda on the front desk was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Nick runs a great bar. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Woeful value for money. Tiny room with many faults, not least the vibrating bed because of machinery. At over £200 per night you expect SO much better. Staff absolutely wonderful though, especially Emma, who saved them from a savaging.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and the hotel was utterly amazing!! The reception staff were so lovely, kind and helpful from the minute you walk through the door! The rooms were immacualte and had nice wee touches like tea and biscuits and dressing gowns which just made the stay extra nice. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore Portree and the wider area of the Island of Skye. Great stay-cation choice
