We were spoiled here. Was a nice change to have everything taken care of for you. Staff were great and facilities clean and well laid out. The breakfast was great as well. Ari and staff....thank you so much for everything.
Close to shops and restaurants, but very quiet. I loved waking up staring at the jungle. Lovely staff. Pool needs more chairs and cleaned/new umbrellas.
This is a super friendly, cosy, beautiful, clean, great ubud center location We stayed in swahita for 2 nights! It's very close to center in walking distance. The room and breakfast were very nice.Dinners are excellent. Most impressed by the staff! No words for the welcoming and kindness of these people.
very nice and pleasant stay. The staff DITA is very helpful and hospitality is very fabulous.
The only downside to the hotel was the lack of water pressure in the shower. Everything else was fine.
Breakfast is nice but the same selection daily. Location is good. Room is clean but crack lines on the wall and bed is squeaky.
This is a typical 3 star hotel, not bad but not "wow". The service was average, but Agus was quite helpful and kind throughout the course of the stay. He even ran an errand for me-- purchasing some pens that I liked and delivering them to my room with the receipt. If you don't like ants, this is not the place for you. There will be ants and other small bugs in your room, although harmless. The breakfast was very mediocre and you have the same three options each day, but it was lovely to have it delivered to the room at no additional charge. Even when we couldn't be there for breakfast one day, they left food in our fridge by request for when we returned. The major issue that will be the reason I choose a different hotel is the location. It is tucked away on a dangerous street that has little to no sidewalk. You will be dodging motorists left and right. There are also dogs that walk along the street. Returning to the hotel at night, three dogs rushed out from the darkness and growled and barked at my heels as they "pushed" me back up the street where I came from. Then they stood there all blocking the street continuing to growl and bark at me so that I could not pass. It was scary! I flagged down a random motorist on a scooter, who let me hop on and took me past the dogs back to the hotel. When I told the staff, they were indifferent. The ironic part is that before I left out earlier that afternoon, I asked a staff member if it is safe to walk and he said yes.
Not too far away from the center of ubud this place is relaxing - only shame is that they have no restaurant for lunch / dinner inside the hotel :) we would have loved to have stayed there for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is good.
From checkin to check out the staff at this gem of a hotel are the stars. Nothing was any trouble. The rooms were big and clean and the balcony was a big bonus over looking the large bamboo forest and greenery. Breakfast was ample with local Indonesian dishes or just scrambled eggs or omelette, all very tasty. Easy walking to the main part of Ubud. Lots of Vegan restaurants around as well as the normal. Fruit shop on main road nearby is full of delish Durian mangosteen and salak. Will definitely stay again.
The hotel was clean but basic. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before. Also my iPhone headphone adapter mysteriously disappeared out of my room. Good value for money however.
