Bad breakfast and dirty rooms

The central location is convenient and the hotel staff are exceptional. Unfortunately the breakfast is horrible, the beds are unsuitable for sleeping. The sofabed is absolutely not an option for sleeping even for young children. Our rooms seemed clean on entry, strong bleach smell, but by the second day the vomit odor was pervasive. For a new hotel the furniture is already in need of substantial deep cleaning if not replacement. Overall I would recommend for a short visit, one or two nights max. The hotel pool is very small and gets overcrowded easily. Would recommend for a business traveler or for someone that needs a short term stay convenient to the hospitals. Also note, they charge a deposit hold from $50 to $100 based upon how you book. Upon check-in they said it would be $50...but upon checkout a different and frankly less than courteous front desk receptionist explained they charge a different hold deposit depending on who you book through.

The opposite of world class service

For $234.76 per night with tax and fees, I expect great service, immaculate rooms and good food. Unfortunately, none of these were experienced. Arrived in the room to find the pullout couch did not have linens, was three inches thick and you could feel every bar underneath. What is worse was the stains all over the couch and matress. In the bathroom, I found one of the two soap holders nearly broken off the wall, unable to hold anything, with a dead light bulb - making the room very dark. One morning I came down for coffee, only to witness 4 staff members have an argument in the lobby, followed by two staff restocking the breakfast bar sharing that one of their coworkers need to get their life together. Later I witnessed staff sitting in a guest room watching TV sipping on a coke for over half an hour while making stops between the lobby, another guest room and my room. The saltwater pool was not well maintained by staff with towels or monitoring behavior or head count, large groups dominated with diving and screaming - leaving it very difficult for anyone else to enjoy. Breakfast was poor quality, including overly salted powdered eggs, bruised apples/bananas, assortment of breakfast cereals and packaged muffins. It was not an enjoyable stay. The one positive is the hotel's proximity to good restaurants and stores. Otherwise, I'd reccomend staying elsewhere.

One night family trip

Good place to stay! Pretty clean, comfy beds, decent breakfast. Only bad thing is the pool. It is VERY small and the water was not clean. It was cloudy and I could see stuff, including bandaids, floating in it.

Wonderful hotel, will stay again next year.

We stayed at this hotel for the 2nd year, for a basketball tournament our daughter was in. This is one of the best hotels out of the huge list of hotels we stay in over the AAU season. It is clean, friendly, the rooms are spacious and well laid out, you have a full size fridge to store left overs or food to cook. You have a 2 burner counter top cook surface, you have dishes and pans and a kitchen table to eat at. There were 2 queen beds which is what I reserved with a good working air conditioning unit in the bedroom and a ceiling fan. The only slight drawback would be the ceiling fan in the bedroom is broke and needs fixed. The air conditioner in the main living area doesn't cool the room off and get below 70 degrees so you end up using some of the bedroom ac to cool that space down. Extra blankets and pillows would be welcome with a pullout instead of having to go up front and request it. The biggest drawback is the breakfast. Limited options, eggs were watery and didn't taste good at all. Sausage was great. Could do a better job on quality and variety. Overall great room and hotel.

Very clean. Very pleasant staff. Not thrilled about guy with a gun. Not sure how you can prevent that but it scared our group including a family with children. Also did not appreciate pool guests playing loud inappropriate music.
