International Hotel Dakar

Dakar is not a city to be mentioned as touristic, my inconveniences were more related to the city itself than connected to the hotel. The hotel is far from "Dakar downtown" but "conveniently" connected by bus - taxi can be used but traffic is just as terrible that... Experiencing the bus together with the locals was interesting, including its unconfortability. Hotel service and facilities are more than correct.

Nice enough hotel but the location is terrible. It was very difficult to explain to taxi drivers how to get to the hotel. Sometimes I had to even pay extra to convince taxis to deal with the terrible traffic in that area combined with the difficulty of finding it. There is construction going on right next door and the noises continue well into late night. The breakfast was decent. The Italian manager was at best rude and at worst racist. Every time I was talking to the front desk people, he would swoop in and talk over me as if I wasn’t there. The day I interrupted him and continued my conversation, he found a way to rack on extra charges to my bill. Would I stay here again. No

Great value for money. Clean hotel, but bath towels although supposedly white look more grayish.

The property is clean and the staff is very helpful, but the location is a bit challenging due to adjacent construction sites.The breakfast was excellent.

The entrance was confusing and apparently next to a construction site. Very dusty and indirect to get access.

The hotel is very nice inside , the staff is freindly and helpfull. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. As a single women traveling in dakar I felt very safe. The hotel isn't in the most beautiful location but its close to everything and easy to get to

Hotel was good. Staff were very welcoming and smiling. Felt welcomed. Bedsheet and room was good, fridge was amongst the coolest I have tried. The windows were on the yard side, therefore nothing to see but the opposite wall. Light was ok though. In room lighting is great. The area is not very well lit, but quite safe. Access is easy by taxi. Slight tendency for traffic jams on the street, but no noise can be heard from inside rooms. Hotel supplies toiletries. Parking space is available. I recommend the place for those who want a clean room close to the main living areas of Dakar.
