Very clean and they have little touches here and there that are very convenient

I was even not staying there for the hotel refused to make a refund regardless of my efforts in explaining a wrong click for reservation

The temperature was too hot making it almost impossible to sleep.

Kitchen's cleanliness could be improved. Many young travellers don't really clean it after use, and I didn't see any housekeeping staff clean the area too. Though location is far from central, the hostel is easily accessible by bus and tram. There is direct bus service to airport.

It was like a home for foreigners, I am definitely staying there when next I visit Helsinki

The property looked outdated, and dirty. Specially the restrooms. The kitchen was alright. The rooms were so small and no space between them. Every time they opened the door to the hostal rooms you could hear all the noise from outside. I think having the main area outside the rooms is not well planned. So if you want a good night sleep you won’t get it here. The showers were altogether as well so no privacy.

Not clean, not ventilated, noisy, good staff

The location is very convenient and near to tram to city n bus from airport. The only set back is the common toilet is near the kitchen area /communal area where u have to bypass pool of ppl to go to toilet

First time in Helsinki and it was a great time! You might think the hostel is a bit outside of city center, but it's centered between various forms of public transportation that take you where you want to go in under 15 minutes, also in 30 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to the ferries - plus you can walk downtown and it takes you a good 30 minute stroll, which I enjoyed a lot. The staff is super helpful, espcially Hélène, Niina, Stefanie, Avnas, Tai and Suman were very kind, knew where I should go to make the most of my stay and made me feel right at home. There is a well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge areas, a super market right aside the hostel and you will have no difficulty getting in touch with other backpackers from around the world. The rooms are your basic hostel rooms, beds are quite good, pillows not too bulky and you even arrive to an already made bed for you - which is such a nice sight for the weary traveler!
