Milu Hotel

Stayed here for one night on a recent trip to Florence. Lets just say, the experience was spectacular. Not only was the location super convenient (approximately 10 mins from airport train stop), but also walking distance from all the major tourist attractions. We arrived in the city early and attempted to check in early. Bruno from the front desk helped us out and upgraded up to a top floor balcony suite. Little did we know all know that the elevator was about to break down. For the inconvenience they were all super apologetic and gave us a free breakfast the next day which was great. Our room was pretty spacious, had all the necessary amenities and even a mini fridge with several complimentary waters/juices/sodas. The top floor of the hotel has a mini lounge and free automatic tea/coffee machine. Also, as you walk up each floor, you can check out their artwork on each level...some of it was pretty cool. Would def stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us make reservations at a restaurant and book a taxi to the airport. The hotel has a great central location. Main sites and the train station are easy to walk to. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. There was complimentary espresso in the 5th floor lounge which was very nice. As well as complimentary water in the mini fridge in the room. Great hotel!

Everything was great except that windows were NOT soundproofed (we stayed at 2nd floor), gets super loud at night.

Cash Travelers BE aware. Our partial cash got stolen from the room safety box from the management team who has the master code. Due to some reason, my parents carried good amount of dollars during our europe trip. Part of the dollars were stolen from the safety box. When we asked them to call the police, the front desk said they don’t know how to call police and don’t know the number to call police. We need to do it on our own. When we asked to see video camera. They said the software system is updating and can’t see the videos until tmr morning. They knew we were leaving at 4am for our flight. Even when the manager came, he was protecting his employees and didn’t offer any solutions.

Hotel staff and amenities were fantastic. Staff were very friendly and always helpful with giving advice on where to eat. Rooms were clean and free mini bar was definitely a plus. Location was also close to everything.

Beautiful hotel, unbeatable location, superb service. Was recommended to it by a friend and it didn't disappoint at all.

Hotel Milu is perfectly situated in the historic center of Florence. The staff are all friendly and warmly welcome you upon entering and leaving the hotel. The rooftop breakfast was the perfect way to start the day and there were plenty of choices that should please every palate. My room was cozy and promptly cleaned every morning. Having a mini fridge stocked with water and snacks was most appreciated after a long day of walking. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I next return to Florence and I highly recommend this hotel to evem the pickiest of travelers!
