El Armador Casa Palacio

Great place to stay on a lovely street in old town Cadiz; my studio was clean and thoughtfully renovated, including the bathroom and kitchenette, and great lamps/lighting throughout. I was pleased to find the very comfortable bed and pillows and only used the kitchenette to boil water but there are glasses and dishes and pans to self cater. My studio was one floor up and the large window looked over the street where there are many shops/cafes/ATMs but it’s nice and quiet at night. I didn’t watch TV but there is a flat screen. Fabulous location convenient to everything in the central old town: Mercado for tapas sampling, La Caleta beach, all the sites are within a 10 minute walk. I was a little unsure about staying somewhere without a 24 hour desk but it was great and felt very safe. The one time I locked myself out was during front desk hours, so I was lucky, but they do have a number you can call in case of issues. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

Beautiful studio apartment, well positioned on pedestrian street in the historic centre of Cadiz. Reception staff were excellent and directed us to a very good restaurant, Casa Lazo. Apartment block just a short walk from underground car park in Plaza San Antonio. Only minor criticism, the bedside tables are too small!

Perfect in every way. Fabulous location. We hope to return one day.

Great central location with access to eating options, the beach, train station and bus station. Staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable for a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a 3rd floor apartment which was quiet. Even hired a car to go to Ronda and mountain villages from Franco at inexpensive rate.
