Arctic Fox Inn

The place is very pleasantly furnished and exceptionally clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating of guests needs and special requests.our bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom in our room was a bit small but, so well designed that it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was a selection of cheeses, fruits, boiled eggs, ham, salami, Greek yogurt bagels and breads with a toaster available. Beverages consisted of coffee, teas, orange juice, milk and water. Dinning was pleasant whether we stayed in the dining/living room or went outside to one of the decks or the table on the lawn.

The owner (? I think), Larry Michael, was INCREDIBLY accommodating, communicative, and helpful. I was in Alaska for a week but only stayed there one night (work and rail excursions were mixed in there) and how I wish I would've stayed there the whole time. My room was spotless and lovely - I travel 50% for work, and that was possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Hopefully work (or life) will bring me here again so I can stay longer!

Good breakfast, clean, friendly and helpful staff

Loved this place and the staff were wonderful. We stayed in a shared bathroom room and never had an issue with the bathroom being used by other guests when we needed it. The house was very clean and well decorated, the shower was amazing (the bathroom is gorgeous), and the room was very comfortable. We were taking an early morning train up to Denali and Michelle was so kind to pack us up a breakfast to take with us. My only complaint is that they process all of the credit cards from the day around midnight in the common area. It was close to the room we stayed in and the beeping from the machine was incredibly loud and kept us up for about an hour. We brought it up to them and they said they would look into moving where they do the processing, so hopefully they have changed that!
