Hotel Villa del Capitano Art & Relais - Historic Luxury Capitano Collection

Nice and spacy room, tasty breakfast, polite staff, good location - it was a shame to stay only one day here. A little bit tricky to take off and load back suitcases out and in the car, because there is no parking place in front of the property.

After an initial mix up with my room,I had a fantastic stay here. The staff were super friendly when you could find them! The reception isn't always manned as it appears that the same people cover multiple hotels in the town - so they might have just popped over to their sister properties to check other guests in. The room was clean and the hotel was lovely. I was slightly disappointed I didn't have time to check out the spa, which looks a bit on the pricey side. The only downside for me was that there was no iron / ironing board available at the property, which is not ideal when you're there for a wedding. It's the only reason I didn't give it a 10/10.

Excellent hotel with an extremely friendly staff. Check in was very smooth, and efficient. They welcome pets, but charge a daily pet fee. There are a few reserved parking spots if you are driving. You have to reserve them and pay for parking, otherwise there was street parking around the hotel.

Was able to check in a little early. Room was clean, cool and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty typical for a hotel, but good. Location was great for walking and exploring. Very pleased overall.

This was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a great location with an easy walk into town. The service was excellent. The breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel. They even provide discounts to some of the best restaurants in town. Great experience all around.

Clean, recently renewed, very nice crew, good breakfast. Very nice small hotel. They do not have a kitchen or 24h services (I did not need it), but they have all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable in a small very beautiful Tuscan village.

Wonderful little hotel very close to center of town. Air conditioning broke for the entire building when we visited, but I think this is rare. Breakfast was amazing!

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was close to the walled city. Breakfast was very nice. The internet in the room was nonexistent and even in the lobby it was very slow. While the hotel claims it has air-conditioning, they staff controls it from the desk so I had to ask three times during my three day stay to have them turn it on. The AC was not working fully and for three days the staff told me they contacted the technician but it was never fixed. Stay here during the winter or in the summer if you don't care about a lack of AC and are fine with sweating in your room.

Super geführtes Hotel mit perfektem Service. Zu dem Hotel gehören weitere Gebäude im inneren der Stadt (Restaurant/Spa-Bereich (Wellnessbehandlung) / Boutiquen). Waren leider nur eine Nacht vor Ort aber wir könnten NICHTS bemängeln.

La struttura di per se è molto carina, nuova pulita e di concezione modern-chic. Quasi tutte le dotazioni della camera sono all'altezza; tranne la doccia che aveva tutte e due le ante sbilenche, fuori guide e con pezzi mancanti. Per il resto, capisco il post-covid, ma la struttura è senza alcun presidio i clienti sono abbandonati a loro stessi e si entra in hotel digitando un codice riservato; ho incontrato solo all'arrivo un referente dell'albergo x il check-in, poi zero, nessuno per due giorni, solo le ragazze delle pulizie. La colazione nonostante sia presente l'apposita sala, viene servita nell'hotel in centro (stessa gestione) a circa 300m di distanza, perchè probabilmente costa troppo gestire due squadre di cucina in due strutture diverse. La colazione va detto è ottima, varia e abbondante nonostante, causa dispo-covid, sia a la carte e non a buffet.
