Staff was nice and the room was nice and clean.

great location close too village and highways,park and walk.

With a name like THE LAKE GEORGE INN I would have expected better . The pictures on the website do not give a good description. So it was very disappointing when we arrived . The desk clerk was most pleasant and accommodating but the room was not . The bathroom was so very small and there was only a shower stall no tub . My husband is a tall and muscular man and he could barely fit in it . There was no shelf or place to put your toiletries. We had to shove them under the sink . You could hear thru the walls and upstairs people running and walking . The whole place needs upgrading . Parking was very tight between cars too. All in all i guess you get what you pay for.

Updated rooms, very clean, beautifully maintained pool, and friendly staff! Highly recommended for staying in Lake George. Short walk to the main strip.

Easy and courteous check in.Pool was open.Room was clean.Curtains could of been attached better.TV remote and TV did not connect. Quiet and relaxing.

The owner was very nice, we spoke via email several times prior to our arrival. He always got back to me quickly. However, upon arrival, we walked into our room & I stood there in disbelief. The room had an odor which immediately triggered my asthma. The bed appeared to be smaller than a full size bed. seemed it would fall apart if we even sat on it. The bedding was old and seemed out of the 70’s. I pulled back the comforter and there was hair on the bed. I used the bathroom as soon as we walked in as we had a 3.5 hour drive and there was hair all over the floor and the base board was filthy. At this point I was wheezing and we went outside to figure out what to do. We knew we could not stay in this dirty, dingy, smelly room. I called the office and the girl told me she would spray some stuff that would help with the smell and even offered to allow me to keep it in the room. I told her I was unable to stay due to my asthma. I asked if dogs were in that room and she told me it wasn’t a pet room and then said that pets haven’t been in that room recently and it may be from all the other pets walking by. requested a full refund was told I would Prob lose my deposit, she would leave a not for the owner to contact me. Of course he didn’t but did refund me for that night, kept my deposit. guess I’ll have to call my credit card company to dispute this charge. Was lucky to find a room avail but at 3.5 times the price! DO NOT STAY THERE!

Very nice people working the desk. Hotel was dated but reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place and an ideal location at the end of town which ensures a quiet, relaxing, pleasant stay...all while having the convenience of everything you would want from a town without having to get in and out of your car, look for parking, then pay to park everyplace you go, e.g. three dollar's per hour near the boats. Very nice and friendly people. Even though there was no room clean due to covid until check-out, the maid would always ask us did we need extra towels or anything during our three night stay. Room was very clean and well prepared for our check-in; slight complaint was only some dust on only some baseboard heating floor ducks...that's it! Having a private balcony was really cool and nice, too. There are two chairs out front also which has nice view looking toward town. Wife and son loved the super, clean pool! I would book now.....well worth the money!
