Best Western Plus Hotel Zürcherhof

The hotel is well located in the old town a 5-10 minute walk from the main Zürich train station. My double room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Both the reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue was some street noise at night, which I was warned about. Overall, I was very happy with my experience.

The things I found different from other stays I've had is that they offer a free drink if you skip on housekeeping, there was a cookie on the bed when I arrived, and I was offered ear plugs, which I didn't end up needing. For a single room, it was a bit small, but very nice and clean. Location was in old town so plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance and it was about a 5 minute walk from the main train station. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was amazing because you can order eggs to your liking and the restaurant is very quaint and beautiful. The elevator was very small and not the norm you would see, but works just fine, but if you're claustrophobic, you may have an issue with the elevator.

Noise from street people talking loudly all night long, noise during the day from construction site starting at 7 a.m. GOT NO SLEEP! Would tell others to never stay here.

Best part is the hotel staff. Great breakfast. Free water, ice cream, and mini bar. Very convenient location.

This is an amazing hotel for the price. Location is ideal. The staff (Rebeca at the reception) was simply superb—helpful, courteous and went beyond the call of duty to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. I almost never write reviews but this hotel is truly exceptional. I highly recommend staying here especially if you’re on a budget. You will not be disappointed.
