Hyatt Place Bowling Green

The room was very nice and sparkling clean. Parking is the biggest issue. The hotel shares a parking garage with Bowling Green University’s Fraternity and Sorority students. It requires walking through the garage. Exiting through 3 sets of double doors. Crossing an outdoor area and entering the hotel through a side entrance. We had limited luggage so could manage this. All restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays So we snacked on a couple things we had taken (Therefore, no supper). The Buffett breakfast in the morning was good considering we had to pick up wrapped items and take them to our room to eat (COVID restrictions). Staff were pleasant and helpful walking us through all this.

Super Comfortable Bed and Quiet. I slept all night.

The shower head sprays so hard it literally hurt. You could not adjust it neither. Was going to use the coffee pot but it had tea bags in it that looked to be a week old.

I travel a ton and this is a very nice hotel, very clean, nice staff. But...what I didn't know is its right beside a train track. My first two nights I could not sleep at all. I'm not exaggerating when I say that a train came through every hour almost on the minute from 8:40 to 1:40am. Loud train whistles announcing their pass thru, it was miserable. I was in room 202. Also the sink in that room only had hot water and the thermostat did not work. After the second night of four, I asked for another room. They quickly took good care of me, put me on the front of the building a little further away from the train track and it was much better. You could still hear the train but nothing like the first room. I probably will not stay here again as sleep is my number one priority when traveling. Its unfortunate because it truly is a very nice hotel.

Beautiful hotel but parking structure out back of hotel, a block over and a block down, walking outside in rain! Only 3 parking spaces in front of hotel. And, hotel right in middle of fraternity house of Western KY University!

The hotel was clean and I felt safe amidst Covid with the room.

The hotel itself was fine. A little older, but still clean. There was a slight smell on the 3rd floor, but tolerable. The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. My only complaint is the parking situation. It was incredibly inconvenient and made check in quite laborious. Guests must drive from the hotel entrance around the block and park in the University Alumni parking garage and walk back to a hotel entrance. It was not horrible, just very inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage and other items that could not be left in a vehicle in a parking garage with no onsite security. For a one night trip, it was fine.
