Staybridge Suites Merrillville

Very clean and nice hotel. It seemed brand new. I was walking down the hall to my room, I could hear a child screaming from another room and fortunately once I got in my Room it was soundproof I would use this hotel again. Checked out at 10:30 I didn't see any breakfast or grabbing go stuff, nobody was even at the desk... I have to find somebody to check out otherwise great.

I was refused cranberry juice which i felt was an easy request. I also checked in late and wanted to check out at 1p.m. but was refused that as well. There were loud people arguing on our floor which made it difficult to rest.

They were wonderful!!! So clean!!!! Great place to stay. So nice we extended out stay and stayed two nights!!!

They are AWESOME! VERY clean and comfortable! We were only planning on one night but extended out stay to two nights!

The room was not clean. There was some kind of red sauce sprayed against the wall in the closet. The bathroom was not clean.

the property was very disappointing. i got a king suite and the room smelled funny, the floors were sticky, and there was a large leak above the refrigerator that leaked into a bowl and onto a towel. you had to move this to get into the freezer. was not impressed at all with the 2 suites I had.

Facility was fine but during our two night stay two issues came about. Friday night a group of people were loud and obnoxious from 10pm to 1045pm. Again later at 1am same or another group was louder and carried on. Seems staff would have put an end to this. At 1130pm we were woken up to fire alarm. Later we found out someone was cooking in room and set off alarm. It was obvious the faculty was being used as an emergency hosing facility.

I called asked for early check, I was told before I arrived to call an hour before arrival to call. We did that. Said we were unable to check in yet due to house keeping had just arrived. She said she would call me once are room was done. We did not receive the call. Front desk new that we were there outside waiting. We approach them a hour before we dUe to our church function. She then checked and said it was ready. The two front desk were not helpful and were just matter of fact. I like to also comment on guest not wearing mask. You have signs all over the doors walls stating that everyone should have them on. I counted 10 people upon arrival who did not have mask on, and neither of the two ladies ask them to put them on. When I question the mask she said it just went into effect which was not true the date on all the postings was dated 12 days ago or prior to our stay. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times before and thus was the first time we have ever not had good service. It was so bad that I may not ever book a room here again.
