Casuarina Estate

We stayed in Casanova's Loft and loved the themed room. Everything was pleasant and comfortable. If I could just give some feedback on the room, it needs some maintenance in the bathroom. The tiles could use regrouting or replacing around the spa bath, and the shower curtain needs to be washed or replaced as it is yellowing at the bottom. The pool tiles also need maintenance as they are loose around the edges and could potentially be a hazard. Other than that the setting of the property is beautiful and we had a lovely 2 night stay. We will be back to try the other themed rooms.

We booked the love boat suite and we really love the theme. Waking up to the vineyard was amazing. Great location!

The styling of the room was great in Moulin Rouge. Shower needs a lottle attention though.. If you are a non smoker just be prepared for the people who smoke next door as the smell will blow into your room...

Amazing stay! The themed suites are gorgeous and it is a really romantic stay. Close to everything but still secluded enough to enjoy

We stayed in the Love Boat room. It was really interesting seeing everything themed. The room was huge with plenty of space for relaxing. The view out the back over the vines was perfect for sitting and reading a book. The common room, although we never used it, looked lovely and spacious. I just wish the pool area had of been open, as we would have had a dip. Definitely recommend Casuarina Estate to anyone visiting the area.

The accomodation was wonderful . We loved the themed Italian Bordello room with the huge hot tub! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back again !

A lovely representative from Hunter Valley Stays contacted me to advise process and confirm booking a few days before. I then received the text message with checkin code as promised and the whole process went seamlessly. The only improvement I think could be made is the privacy screens are too low between each themed suite on the exterior patios. We were having a relaxing wine in the late afternoon and could hear/ see the other guests about three rooms down. It would be nice if the screens were higher, giving a little more privacy to them and us. The room was perfect, tastefully decorated, not at all tacky. Warm, cosy and clean. Overall, we were really happy with the accommodation and only wished we could’ve stayed an extra night!

Quirky rooms, nicer than anticipated with a cute complimentary wine in the room for us! Not soundproof at all, no water pressure in shower and had other guests walking up on our balcony to see what each room looked like. Overall quite cute though! Great customer service - very responsive on email/phone

The rooms are so dated both in aesthetics and smell. The smell was horrid. Additionally the walls are so thin we could hear the couple in the suite next door having intimate relations (to put it review friendly), and could also very clearly hear their conversations and footsteps on the raised section of the room. The mattress itself was relatively comfortable, but the bed itself had a thin chipboard type layer underneath, presumably in place of slats or similar, that jutted out, wasn't smooth on the edges, so scratched if you touched it and was very noisy, when purely rolling over. The shower was noisy and the tiles mouldy. Check-in process was easy and the complimentary wine a nice touch. Ultimately, I would not recommend this property to anyone after a nice, romantic weekend.
