Point Pleasant Resort

Great little condo with a great view. Friendly staff. Condo was clean when we arrived. Due to COVID there wasn’t any cleaning during our stay but whenever we needed something the staff was right on it.

The stay was excellent!! Only one thing the shuttle should run pass 6pm. Most people go to eat at 6. Now after dinner you have to walk up the hill which is not a good thing if you are all the way at the top for the view.

The photos may have been a bit deceiving. The space is definitely not as spacious as it seems. The kitchen and bathroom area were both very confined spaces. Also, it could have been cleaner. I noticed there were ashes on our toilet when we arrived. Also, the bed sheets didn't look as clean as I'd would have liked. Other than that, the view was amazing. The resort doesn't feel resorty like other places I've been. St. Thomas is definitely a more relaxed feel which is fine. The staff was very friendly and Point Pleasant was central to a lot of the local areas like Red Hook and Sapphire Beach. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but needs some upgrading. It's a bit outdated.

Beautiful property and excellent stay despite Covid. Not all amenities are open, but everything was perfect! Wife and I stayed in D22. We were near the top of the hill so the hike down to the beach is a little tough If you are out of shape or have kids. But the private beach is worth the trip. (WAY BETTER THAN MARGARITAVILLE) would definitely stay again.

Our villa was beautiful inside as well as a perfect view. Staff was so pleasant and helpful! We loved our stay!

The property was wonderful. The room we had had a great view of the water. The resort is on the side of a mountain but there are taxis that can take you down. I would recommend Marleys Taxi service and ask for Christina. She was on time and gives you tours of the island. She made or stay much more easy.

The staff was amazing. Everyone was very kind, always saying "hi" and trying to help. You could see that they wanted you to have a wonderful time. The view on the ocean was beautiful and it was a short walk (10 mn) from Coki Beach which has amazing snorkeling. The other beaches were a little further but there was always a taxi 5mn away or the hotel staff will drive you down the hill to get a safari bus. They also provide you with beach towels. There are two pools of decent sizes. I often had the one up the hill to myself! Plenty of nice colorful flowers and trees as well!

Cons: TV was broken, no toiletries, two sliding doors handles were missing (i.e. cannot open doors from the outside), had to request toilet paper and towels several times. Bed was not cleaned and made upon arrival. Pros: View, hot water, and location Large property and has potential but the management needs to upgrade/maintain the rooms. Quality of rooms is not what is shown in the website/pictures.
