Very close to action area of Wakiki

Very close to the “action” area of Waikiki beach. PF Chang and Star Bucks across the street. Many eateries from not expensive to very expensive within walking distance. Night market on Wikiki beach is also steps away. Wonderful location.

Great stay

Clean, safe and comfortable sums it up for us. Friendly staff was helpful. Having a full time concierge is something that most hotels miss, but not here. We’ll be back.

NOT WORTH IT

Going to Hawaii during Covid is a hassle not only from having to register all your information for a QR code from the state but also when we got into the hotel, checking in was painfully slow and inefficient. Even after a long check-in, I got a call at 9:30pm from the front desk on the second night asking which room should my parking be billed to! Obviously unaware I am still on west coast time and had little kids in the room whom were already asleep! Also for the amount of money they charge per night plus resort fees, you would think they clean your rooms or at least deliver bottles of water and coffee but they don’t. Room was only cleaned once. Ice machine was a bonus but stopped working on the 4th day. Because we traveled with a big party, finding a place to sit down and eat was a challenge. We tried to eat on the rooftop deck but there were too many cockroaches running around. We ended up running back in our hotel rooms. For this price, your stress level and your money is better spent elsewhere.

Hokulani will always be our go to hotel and a memorable memory for my Wife & I. We got married here and also spent our honeymoon here, thank you to all the staffs at Hokulani Hotel for the great service!

We stayed at the 1 bedroom with 2 queens Very clean and spacious with sofa bed very convenient location, Waikiki beach, shopping and dining all walking distance, Don't need a rental car Love having fully equipped kitchenette even had a rice cooker Very modern and chic, I loved the bathtub with the water coming out of the ceiling and tv inside the mirror bed, blanket, pillow so so comfortable Friendly staff But At night street noise kept me up maybe because our room was facing the main street of Kalakaua but after 2am it was quiet Overall, definitely will stay here again and recommend to family & friends

Loved it - Great for couples!!

This is NOT a hotel for families with children, which for me was great. If you have kids, the pool will NOT work for you. That said (I have no small children and it was GREAT), I loved the pool for standing in with drinks and the view is to DIE for. The Vegas style (but free) cabanas were great (had fridge, tv, sofa). Drinks from the roof top bar were top notch, but the roof top bar was only open 1-7 (really??) The room itself had all you need (fridge/freezer, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, bowls, knives, a toaster, a tea kettle) & had a real coffee maker (coffee grounds - which the hotel provided). There were paper towels, a sponge, dish soap, a dishwasher (with washing powder provided). The rooms were exactly how they look on line. Toilet bidet and heated seat were a great hit, as was the tv in the bathroom mirror. The location was perfect - 1 block to the beach. Across the street is Starbucks. ABC store and Longs drugstore are 1/2 block away. All shopping was literally steps away. Hotel staff were so nice. They have free washer & dryer (with provided soap). Hotel is small, but I liked it because it was not congested in the lobby or out front. It was quiet, safe and I would come back ANYTIME. 5 stars!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hokulani. The room was spacious and comfortable. The mini kitchen was nice to have. We didn't cook, but we made use of the fridge, microwave, freezer, plates/bowls, and utensils. It was also nice to have access to free washing machines and dryers down the hall. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The the front desk staff and valet guys were friendly. The walk to the beach wasn't too bad. My only complaint is the noise coming from Kalakaua Ave. We were on the 12th floor but can still hear loud music from one of the restaurants and cars with loud music driving by. But overall, it's a great hotel.
