The room had a cozy and traditional feel. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed heaven. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel provides what most of 5-star hotels in Dubai cannot - flawless service of cheerful and helpful personnel, tasty breakfast, unique interior design, quiet neighborhood, metro station in less than a minute walk. İt was quite pleasant stay, probably gonna book again

Exotic room in an authentically Arabic building located in an older part of Dubai, this hotel was superb! The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. This was a delightful hotel.

Wonderful decor - lots of character - the stay became an experience. a few minutes walk to the Souks, the Abra boat or the metro. The staff were just lovely. Great air conditioning. A super restaurant right next door.

The night staff is super helpful. However, the lady during the day is not. The first day we were there, she literally rolled her eyes when we pay the hotel fee with a bigger bill. When asking for restaurant recommendation, she was super curt. She also didn't mention that we need to leave the key to get the room cleaned so we didn't have the room clean both days we were there. Other than that, the space is beautiful and room was comfortable even though it was super hot outside. Good location to explore the souk.

What I love about this hotel is that it gives me an experience of old UAE. The location is perfect--the souks and public transportation are close. The staff are the best, especially Mr. Salman and the lady who ensures we are looked after during breakfasts (I apologise her name slipped my memory)--they really are the heart and soul of the establishment. The only thing I can think of that needs improving is the hotel's bathroom in that it needs to be renovated.

This hotel is at a wonderful location close to souqs and metro link, abras and walking. The staff were excellent and tried in every way possible to help us. The breakfast is substantial and more than met our needs. Alena also offered to make omelets for us in addition to the usual presentation. The beds are comfortable, the room well laid out, and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. This hotel is off the main street and requires a little walking from the nearest taxi access (maybe 75 meters). Once we got our bearings in this location, we were grateful for the seclusion and relatively quiet location. The bedding and towels were of fine quality. This is not an upscale chain hotel; it's a guesthouse and we appreciated the intimacy.

Initially difficult to find and even more difficult to get suitcase from the taxi to the reception. Once you have managed the moving in process, the rest is pretty straight forward. Good lay out, great service and very accommodating staff. Breakfast a fair variety and again staff willing to create selection of different egg dishes.
