Hua Hin is a nice town. Very relaxed. Not as crazy as Pattaya or Bangkok. Everything can be walkable or a quick ride. There are a lot of cute little night markets, and great Thai restaurants all around. I really enjoyed Hua Hin. I will be back soon!

Hua Hin offers a good blend of shopping, dining and beach activities in a more relaxed and easy paced manner. The locals are friendly and there is enough to keep you busy or chilled depending on your requirements. A pretty place overall.

More spread out than expected so walkability between different parts of town is challenging. Song Tou's run very infrequently so you are dependent on taxis, ride hail apps, and TukTuks, budget for transportation accordingly.

I have been here 2 week. I love Hua Hin as a solo traveler. I feel safe. The only negative comment is that several high end dining are not welcoming to solo diners at peak times.

Hua Hin is quiet compared to other areas of Thailand and the age group of travelers is a bit older. Nice break from the hectic areas like Pattaya and Phuket.
