Anfi Opal Villas

Good location, quiet and relaxing with very helpful reception staff. Couple of issues with the maintenance to the patio and pool area otherwise very good. Would liked to have had a pool table and table tennis in the large empty basement. Lovely stay recommended.

We loved our stay. The villa was roomy for 6 people. The kids loved the pool even though it was not heated and a little chilly for February. The kids also greatly enjoyed the large indoor bathtub/spa. The area was quiet and safe. We appreciated the late check out. Easy to walk to the local grocery store. Perfect place to stay if you enjoy golfing! The only things I would suggest is that they change towels at least every other day. The bed was a little too hard for my liking. Could use some better kitchen knives, pots and pans. But overall, this place is wonderful and we will return.

Excellent stay

Check in was easy and efficient at hotel reception, helpful staff. Took taxi down to villa. Villa spacious, spotless and well equipped. Surroundings were quiet, we had a very peaceful, relaxing and comfortable holiday. Have already booked to return.

Just like the photos - a huge five star villa

Our family of five had a great stay at Anfi Opal. 3 huge double rooms - each with an en-suite. Plunge pool outside was great. Amadores beach nearby is the nicest one we found too. Only very minor issues were a couple of cockroaches paid us a visit. We mentioned it in Reception and the next morning the entire complex was being treated! Very fast response!! Would definitely go back to Anfi & Amadores. A great holiday.

the best villa we'eve ever stayed

Our villa was a nice surprise - very luxurious and much better than we expected; almost nothing was missing that we could possibly want; very friendly and dutifull staff change bins every day and clean the apartament in the middle of the week. it is very peaceful around so we had a very relaxing time as a result; big tv in each bedroom, wifi everywhere; Gran Canaria is spectacular so we did a lot of sightseeing because there's plenty to do and see: dunes in Maspalomas is a must, so are the mountains and Las Palmas old town - Veguetta, especially on Sunday, with folk music and dancing next to the Cathedral; the numerous restaurants are fantastic, with wonderfully fresh fish and sea food. We will be coming back to explore more and to relax at the Anfi.

Nice villa, although the air con wasn't very cold!

We really enjoyed our holiday although the villa is not within walking distance to anything, so a car is essential. You have to check in at the Emerald Club which is a 10 min walk to the Villas. But they won't help you with your luggage and when our villa was ready at 4pm, we had to get an external taxi to make the short journey. The Emerald club were very unhelpful throughout the whole stay and did not want anything to do with those staying in the Villas. (Ie restaurant recommendations etc). We wouldn't have minded that, but don't make us check in there if the Emerald club is completely separate to the Villas! They allowed us to use the main swimming pool while we were waiting for our villa to be ready but we later found out during our holiday that we weren't allowed to use the Emerald club as we weren't staying there. No one mentioned this to us! The swimming pool at the villa is tiny and not suitable if that is the only pool that can be used. we had a lovely holiday but wouldn't return.

family golfing holiday

just back from a week at Anfi Opal Villas and I cannot recommend it enough. We were lucky enough to get one of the villas on the complex and it was fantastic. The villa was huge (in fact probably too big for just the four of us) but who's complaining!!! All 3 bedrooms had huge en suite's and the master a walk in wardrobe. The kitchen was brilliant as was the lounge area. There were only a couple of uk channels on the tv but we always take a few dvds for any evenings that we don't go out. (although we did have to request a hdmi lead) this arrived within about 20 minutes from request! The gardens with plunge pool were great for the mornings whilst the boys in our group went to play golf (which I am told were fantastic courses- just not cheap for a round!!!) The facilities at the hotel were also fantastic, really clean, with a lifeguard on at all times. There was also an entertainment team and all the staff were lovely. There was a restaurant round the pool which we at first purchased drinks and ice creams from, although we eventually realised they were not bothered if you purchased and consumed your items from the spar which was a 2 second walk out the hotel lobby. This obviously was a big saving!!! Lastly I will just mention the local restaurant The Truro Grill. The food was fab, we rented a car and tried a few restaurants in Puerto Rico (5 minute drive from Anfi) but none of the food we had was anywhere near as good as the Grill, I highly recommend that you try.

Amazing villa!

Amazing villa, very high quality throughout. Heated pool was great for small kids. Very clean and well maintained. 5-10 min drive from several great beach locations.
