Great stay ,Suzanne charming & very welcoming Breakfast wonderful with lots of choice Wi-fi could have been better Only downside the traditional home cooked meal overpriced for dried bony cod fish , on checkout tried to charge an extra €10 due to be on his new brochure ! Did not take kindly to my refusal to pay more than quoted ! 20 minute walk into pretty Cascais & harbour

If you don’t appreciate attention to detail then this is not the place for you. From the welcome upon entering this gorgeous home. The amazingly on suite where you have pure luxury To the delicious cooked to order eggs, pancakes and scrumptious buffet The host and hostess are absolutely top notch We are definitely returning to this retreat

Having spent five days in Lisbon we were looking for somewhere with a bit of style nearby in which to chill out and The Charm of Cascais fulfilled our wishes and expectations. The proprietors were solicitous and caring with considerable attention given to every detail. The only issue we had was that the booking details confirmed both a balcony and a pool view when in fact neither was provided. This, our hosts explained was because not all facilities were available with each room. Our advice then would be to check before arrival as to precisely what room will be allocated. This will avoid unnecessary disappointment on arrival. That said you can be assured that the facilities provided will be of the highest standard and the welcome truly warm and special.

Beautiful hotel... family run, delicious breakfast free every morning. Hosts are happy to assist with booking tours, etc. Close to many local attractions. Outdoor pool and patio. The only down side was they are very unreasonable about bringing in own food/drinks, etc. Breakfast doesn't start until 9 (which is way too late for anyone wanting to get out early and explore); dinners are only served 3 days a week, and while very good, are very expensive. When we brought in outside drinks and food they were extremely disapproving; also, there is no refrigerator. Overall, though, we really liked it.

We loved this hotel, it really did feel like you were stopping at a friends home, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast and also the evening meal we took. Very good attention to detail, love to return.
