Hotel Revellata

There was a mix-up with the room, but other than that, perfect as ever.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Calvi right on the sea front. We had a comfortable room with balcony overlooking the pool an a partial sea view. The pool was excellent. The only thing that let it down slightly was the machine coffee at breakfast which was pretty revolting. In every other respect it was excellent value.

Lovely hotel in a great Calvi location. Rated as a three star but probably deserves four stars.

We had a lovely terrace with a view over the ocean. The room was clean, bright, comfortable and spacious. The shower had no temperature governor, and so hot and cold bursts came unexpectedly. The pool area looked great, but it was too cool to try it out. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee out of the machine was very poor. Parking across the road was very handy, and it was an easy walk into town, and also access to the coastal walking trail was just below the parking area.

Superb modern hotel just minutes walk from Calvi's impressive citadel and bustling quayside. Extremely comfortable beds, rooms have balconies overlooking the pool and/or view across the Med. Large bathroom with huge shower enclosure. Funky themed breakfast room with super-attentive staff. Wifi was adequate but struggled to stream movies. The only negative for me was the aircon in our room (3-bed room 113) which struggled to keep the night-time temperature bearable for me (although I do like it really cool). Maybe the aircon was overdue a service. Would thoroughly recommend the Revellata to friends and family.
