Terrou-Bi Beach & Casino Resort

Great staff . Beautiful location

It is a beautiful resort. The room was spacious and clean and didn't smell muggy like the radisson and the king fahd rooms I had stayed in. The service was excellent, everyone always smiling and making sure I had everything I need. The room service menu is limited, but they have great restaurants with excellent selections. The breakfast buffet is top notch. Overall I had a great time!

I'm super disappointed from the apparently 5* Terrou-Bi resort. The check-in reminded me on a badly organised youth hostel; the reception staff was busy talking to each other and sorting the key cards. Friendly enough I was told where I can find my room - no information about the venue, breakfast, what so ever. No luggage service was offered. In the room arrived, I first enjoyed the hideous view on a ugly parking lot. The furnitures in the room (#515) were nice, but the bed frame was way larger than the mattress. Kind of awkward. Then I tried to plug in my phone, unfortunately both USB sockets were broken. In the bathroom, I noticed a lot of limescale and the whole room was negligently cleaned. There were even spots of black mold on the ceiling. The water pressure in the shower was low, so was the water temperature. The house keeping staff entered twice my room without any reason even though I was is the room. However, the staff is friendly and tries to help also with limited English. The internet was highly unreliable, I had to switch to the mobile phone for a conf call. The gym is super small with only little equipment. In the convention facilities we expirienced power cuts, super bad audio equipment, constantly failing Wi-Fi and hideous decor in front of a stunning view. Don't get me wrong, that are all not huge problems but it demonstrates that the place is far away from a 5* standard and that there is no reason to justify the exorbitant rates.

The Fromt Desk Staff are all excellent. They go out of their way to be helpful in every possible way.

Good property. Great pool and amazing patio bar one if the best. Service is great. They are expanding with a much needed gym and spa so will be great. The lobby area needs renovation to make more modern and current. Otherwise truly great hotel.

The grounds are magnificent; the terrance restaurant oozes with ambiance. The staff very helpful

Very cosy and well equipped, you get the high standard of international five stars but with the Senegalese charm. You absolutely need the rooms with balcony on the sea front, the private beach is a postcard view.

Perhaps, it is the best property in Dakar, however the hotel, and especially rooms are worn-out. The gym could be much better

I am extremely disappointed in my stay in this establishment and specifically in the service of the reception and reservation desk. There is obviously no loyalty towards regular customers and when it comes to solving an issue the staff completely waives its responsibilities.
