Gala Hotel

The hotel let me check in at 10.30 am which was amazing. Thank you very much. The gold vip package was disappointing as the free mini bar was 1 bottle of beer and can for the whole trip. Although 2 bottles of water were provided daily. No room upgrade was offered. The restaurant discount offered is offered to all guests. The room was spacious, the staff were friendly score would be higher however I found an unpleasant smell from the pillow covers. After requesting these are replaced, the new replacements were worse.

It is an older hotel. The lobby area is nice and the bell hops very promopt. The rooms are very small and some of the cupboards don’t swing very well. There is a dank small as most buildings were not built with proper ventilation - they do have air purifiers set up in the hallways and this does help.

There was someone smoking in their room on our floor. Otherwise quite pleasant and conveniently located.

The stay was pleasant, clean, staff were nice. Had a good time.

When I booked in line the price I saw was $2468NT for one king size if paid credit card. but when I checked out, I was told I need to pay, either by credit card or cash same price, I had to paid over $3200 per night for 5 night, I knew it was not the rate I was looking for
