Budget Inn Sanford

Okay spot for a quick stay. Close to the airport. Not the best condition, but there’s definitely worse.

Everything was disgusting.....Go see for yourself.

I prepaid for a one night stay here because it was the closest to the Sanford Airport and we had an early flight the next day. They had a temporary lobby with a small window in the corner. The hotel staff can only see a small part of the temporary lobby area unless they are right up against the window. I patiently waited in the far corner of the lobby for someone to wait on my, while another gentleman was at the window. Apparently there was an issue with his reservation or payment, because he was there for at least a half hour. After about 15 minutes I went and stood a safe distance behind the other customer expecting someone to see me and offer to help, or at least acknowledge I was there, but after an additional 15 minutes none of the hotel staff, who were not wearing masks, came to the window. I was looking around the lobby and the hotel and could see that it was in poor condition and didn't look clean. I finally decided to give up and go search for another hotel. The next day I call the hotel and explained that I had been there and had waited patiently for someone to wait on me, but they didn't. I asked for a refund and was told that wasn't going to happen. This hotel is dirty and run down and the hotel staff couldn't care less about their customers. If the hotel manager and office workers don't wear masks when they are dealing with customers, I can only assume the maid staff probably doesn't either.

My room was fine for my very quick stay. I couldn't get the TV to work but I decided to read instead and didn't even bother the night clerk. I'd stay there again under the same circumstances.

We stayed in a very dumpy room. They are remodeling an was working early an late on top of our room. Entrance Door wouldnt shut all the way, bathroom door didnt shut, floors were disgusting, we asked for a new room on the remodeled sides an they wouldnt accommodate so 2 nights in this room. We even packed up our stuff was to scared to leave it in the room when we left for the day. Pop machine took my money and didnt give the correct pop when it did work. It was a nightmare. Do not stay here.

Our stay was the worst night sleep I’ve ever had. My family was up all night. It sounded like a herd of Buffalo was above us until about 2am. The beds were horrible. We kept smelling marijuana. Unfortunately our room was right by where everyone checked in and we could here everyone walk past our room to get to there’s. That hotel never quieted down. The shower would barely get hot a 830 at night surely they couldn’t be out of hot water. The water pressure was barely more than a trickle.

Office staff very kind and helpful. Room freshly redone but smelled like paint. Air conditioning unit was so loud it made it hard to sleep.

Worst ever. No water pressure in the sink or tub. Couldn’t use any water. Beds were dirty Left 2 messages with the manager and no return call back. Very very disappointed

It was cold an thwe heater in my room did not work. 40 degrees. I told the front desk he came an checked it. An i ended up sleeping in full cloths an blankets off both beds. No refund no discount. I was miserable
