DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Northwest

Hotel sits behind whataburger off 1604 service Road. You can drive thru Whataburger parking lot to front of hotel. Its is not well lite and when we arrived no one was at check in counter. Man was smoking outside. All he said was you do know we are under renovation. There is no restaurant, free breakfast and no pool. But they use have coffee and Danish. First come first served. Needless to say coffee was out,a few bannas,apples,muffins

Great clean up to date rooms

Website does not say it’s under construction. 7:30 construction began with loud drilling.

The room was newly remodeled and clean, but construction was still in progress and wasn't in booking information.

First this I was told when I arrived was that they over booked and didn’t have a room for me after I make reservations. Edward did his best to accommodate us and told us he would “bump” a reservation to get us a room. This left me feeling uneasy. After we got back from a late dinner we found the lobby filthy and littered with cups and trash left behind by other guest. No pool, No cafe, No breakfast, as advertised online. No indications that the property was ever being renovated. I should not have been charged what I was charged for a one night stay. I will avoid the “garden” from now on. Horrible experience.
