Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich

It was superb! Our first day to arrived switzerland and staff are friendly and accomodating. Eventhough we requested a connecting and was not given our request but we get the same floor

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at Hotel Schweizerhof in Zurich. The staff attended to every detail. Great service. Beautiful hotel. Very convenient location by train station.

Hotel staff great, room great. Hotel food breakfast very good also dinner. However the service at dinner was lacking and took too long. On a Wed night we had a white wine made out of red grapes where the skins were not used. We were told this info by the wait staff. On the next night Thurs we told the wait staff we would like this wine again they told us our description was wrong and had no such wine. This was a different staff than the previous night.

We stayed one night, prior to our departure the next day. We have stayed here before and knew what to expect. It's located right across from the Zurich Train Station. Use this to your advantage. If you arrive by train, just hump your luggage across the street. The hotel food is incredibly expensive, but good. Go across the street to the train station, find the shop that sells schwarmas, get a couple and then supplement with one of their 16 CH franc salads. If using uber to get around, be sure to indicate on the app, that they have to pick you up on the side street to the right, facing the main entrance. Taxis are incredibly expensive and cumbersome to use if paying by credit card. Overall, it's a solid, expensive hotel, but typical for Zurich's cost of living.
