Legacy Ottoman Hotel

The hotel provides excellent customer service, the rooms are always clean and I like the security it provides. I felt safe knowing not anybody can go into hotel. The best thing about Legacy Ottoman Hotel is that is located within walking distance around most places of interest including the famous bazar.

We booked this hotel as we were on a tour that started its first night here. We arrived a day early and then had an additional 2 nights at the end of our tour. The hotel arranged our first night and let us remain in the same room for the tour night. They then allowed us to leave some luggage during the tour which we collected at the end of the trip. The Hotel is in a fantastic location and restaurants, markets, tourist attractions and trams are all within walking distance. The Spa - in the bottom floor is lovely. We had both a Hamman Bath and Massage, very reasonable price and was absolutely fantastic. Our pre tour room was much more spacious than the after tour room, but both were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Water and Fruit was in the room for us when we arrived on both occasion. Breakfast was mostly Turkish with the option of freshly cooked omlettes or eggs. Buffet style served from behind screens due to Covid. Fantastic Views of the City from the Dining Room and Bar.

Very close to tram station and major attractions. Not much choice for vegetarians and vegans.

Compared to equal rating hotels I stayed previously at in Istanbul is the fact makes me opt for other hotel I’m my next visit.

Avoid at all cost! I had to wait 3hrs for my room, the staff and manager were rude, they tried to send me to a lower class room and offer a voucher for dinner because they oversold the hotel and didn't have a see view room for me. I was only staying for one night after a long flight. The manager was yelling at me and I had to put him in his place they feel they can treat women however they want. Finally we got a room however the aircondition never worked, we contacted front desk several times and they lied. We learn the next day that the hotel turn off the Ac to save money. Never again in this hotel worst stay ever.

The reception is too small and understaff You need to improve your reception area and put more staff The waiting for check in is not organize and takes long long time .

Great staff and very nice location, close to everywhere

Property location is closed to everything. It’s dated, 2 outlets in the room to charge your phone and the one of the outlet is not on the best location which is the headboard of the bed, there’s one lamp in the room but it’s not working no where to plug it.
