Old City Boutique Hotel

Very central hotel, and excellent value. Request a room in the new block, because the rooms in the old block are jaded and need updating, and the connecting corridor is lethal in the dark. Very helpful staff.

Hotel are very nice but breakfast are not good

Great deal for the price. Exceptional location. Newly renovated facility. Small but comfortable room featuring everything one might need. Nice bathroom. Breakfast included.

Location was good and the breakfast was excellent. Having booked an economy room I was placed in the annex. Economy meant there was no safe (on asking I was told that if I wanted one I would have to upgrade to a more expensive room). Also the TV did not work and the bed and bedding was poor quality. The room was only cleaned once during a four night stay (one day they came to clean the room at 6.00pm, which was not convenient). Avoid booking an economy room if you don’t want to be treated like a second class guest. Staff at breakfast were very nice but Reception staff were not at all helpful. On check out, the member of staff did not even look up from his phone when I handed over the key, with no attempt to ask how my stay had been. Overall, although the hotel is well located, it does not warrant its star rating and I would not recommend it to other visitors to Riga.

Staff was friendly and helpful, good breakfast , large selection of food, quiet place.

In a great location within the old town , close to attractions ,shops ,restaraunts also a shopping mall. About 30/40 min walk from the Station & Bus Station . Very good breakfast but runs out if there is a rush but will be replenished in time. One complaint is with the free Wifi as it is a bit of a hit & miss as you need to sign into several Old city boutique hotel sites until you are accepted, we have never had this problem before . Overall a very pleasant experience.

The staff is accommodating. I arrived past 11 am and my room is already ready so they let me checked in even though regular checked in time is 2 pm. Thank you Juta as well for arranging my airport transfer. I had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

The property was modern in a fairly central location....the staff were ok

The location of this hotel was fantastic & the building itself very beautiful & as shown in the photos. However, after this we had a very disappointing experience & felt the need to highlight a couple of things; - The Room was incredibly hot with no way of being able to control the room temperature. The receptionist advised that as it’s winter, the AC unit was off and the only way to cool the room down was through a window. - this window looked directly into all of the other bedrooms. We could see directly onto the bed of the room next door and vice versus! - the window was incredibly unsafe. It was full height and opened fully with no safety lock or balcony/railing. The drop was 3 floors below us and there was no way to safe guard yourself. Ok as adults but not suitable for children!! - We ordered a double room with a double bed which we got - yet had 2 single duvets. We asked reception if they could find us a double bedding but when we got back to the room 10 hours later ready to sleep; there was still 2 singles and no notice from the reception. After going back to reception; we were advised one would be brought to us within 10 minutes. We later received a call to say there wasn’t one. - Although the breakfast was good, they had fully run out of bread&the staff were no where to be seen.When we could finally ask someone we were told there was none left. - There was no FOC water(bottle was 4 euros). A complimentary bottle would have been nice given how hot the room was!
