I loved how across the street there were food truck stands! And it was close to the museums.

I have made this my go to destination for downtown events as it is in the downtown, it is affordable, the staff are outstanding and everything works properly. I travel a lot and this is a top ten destination in the ten countries I visit.

Everyone working here is very nice and helpful about directions. The other great news is that the hotel is next to a giant lot of food trucks, maybe a dozen of them. Very good Indian and Thai food, it's fantastic!

A clean, comfortable, excellent customer service, good location, and competitive price

This a hidden gem in a not as rough as it looks neighborhood. It is basically on the Portland State campus and sitting among food trucks and walk-up food vendors. The hotel was well run and clearly had recently been renovated. For a small but well equipped and decorated room that is convenient to the train system and Portland State, this is a terrific value.

You can't beat the location, it's great, close to the river, university and walking distance to OMSI and the Gulch. It's a very small hotel but the front desk guy is very friendly. The rooms are updated and clean. The main drawback is all the construction going on in this area. It's loud most of the day. If you are a light sleeper, get some ear plugs. Otherwise it's great.
