Vacation Village at Parkway

We loved it so much we came home and booked our next stay.

Nice stay and relaxing. The building we stayed in could use some updating. Especially the mattress and pillows. Although they had a new building that I’m sure was more updated. Next year I would ask to be in that one. We also regulated to have rooms across from each other or adjoining since one of us a younger children and one had an adult that is disabled weeks in advance. After arriving at 10:30 Lm had to wait 30 minutes for a room to be checked to see if it was clean. Then when we both got the room keys they said now you have adjoining rooms.we did not and one of us was clear around the corner which was really inconvenient!!

When I arrived the room the checked me into was not clean so I had to wait 20 minutes to get put into another room. During my stay I was locked out of my room twice and had to get new keys which was very inconvenient for me. The first night the place lost power for about 5 minutes and the other residents were blasting music for the better part of the night. They offered me a free lunch & a $80 gift card but didn’t mention that I had to sit through a sales pitch for 2 hours on buying a time share before they gave me the gift card.

The room was excellent. The pool and playground were well maintained and accessible.

Just don't stay here unless you get A side. B side is super crappy. It is tiny and you don't even get a stove. This was supposed to be an amazing birthday for me, but we checked in today to find this tiny tiny room. We tried to talk to the manager and no one cared. They wanted to charge us even more to get A side. 3 months ago when we were here this wasn't an issue because they gave us A side and didn't charge us extra. This is dirty and disgusting. I won't come back here. Stay at Parkway International next door. It is small but so cute. The management really tries to fix things and take care of repeat guests. Vacation Villages really ruined my birthday trip. EDIT: We paid the extra $60 dollars to move to A side. Just to find dirty floor and a bed that is only partly made. There is a pillow in the middle of the bed, and no matching pillow for the other side. There is pieces of dirt and fuze all over the bathroom floor. We have come here before with no problems, but there are literally NO people here, and we are treated like we are not a valued guest. You would think that they would appreciate a guest coming here during this virus. Thanks for the great birthday, I will not come back. Edit#2: Called down to front desk to ask what is the latest we can checkout tomorrow because our son has a zoom meeting with his teacher at 10am which is the usual checkout time. The woman wouldn't even listen, just automatically said we can't do a late check-out. We even said we would pay extra.

The room was very clean and spacious! Had everything we needed for our family, other than food! The only thing I would complain about is the Wifi! I didn’t get good service in my room and the Wifi kept going in and out. Very nice and clean pool in our area! Will definitely stay again!

There are ALOT of buildings for this resort so don’t let the pictures of the blue (and whatever color) fool you on their website. I didn’t even see that building or perhaps they repainted it. If you park early you should be able to get a close parking spot. However, if you like to go out and eat late (like go to the food trucks which close early morning), chances are you’ll have to walk some. I heard they were remodeling in some buildings so I asked for a newer room. Note sure if I got it or not but my room was decent (12306 - building 12, room 306) facing the pool. It was clean and I felt safe with my family. I would stay here again if I had to.

Vacation Village is so much like home. All the amenities.
