Lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and very well kept pool area, very relaxing. A few helpful tip to travellers: - The hotel doesnt have an iron for customers to use, however they do have a laundry service which you can choose to pay for - You will need a car if you stay here, taxis are very expensive as they have to travel in from Perugia

We have been fortunate enough to stay in many fabulous hotels, all over the world, but Posta Donini has just gone to being our favourite hotel, anywhere. The staff are absolutely wonderful - every single one of them took the greatest care of us. Our room was beautiful, with probably the most comfortable bed, bedding and pillow we have ever experienced (apart from our own bed, of course!). The food was spectacular, at breakfast, lunch and dinner - fresh and very creative. We were only sorry that we were only staying for one night, and so could not try out more of the dishes offered on the menu. A real treasure of a hotel, and one to which we’d love to return. A massive thank you to Giacomo and the whole team, for making our stay so wonderful.

It was beautiful hotel with surrounding gardens. Hotel has a good restaurant and breakfast was included.

Great service, lovely location, food in the restaurant some of the best I have ever had. And a nice spa too.

I do not recommend anyone staying in this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are nothing like advertised. Everything was old and was falling apart. Then they tuned the AC off remotely because it’s nice out however, they booked a wedding and blasted the music till 2am, the windows were shaking due to the music being so loud. So we couldn’t open the windows without waking the kids. Definitely not coming back.

The hotel with its beautiful grounds and gardens is just outside Perugia anda great place to escape the hussle and bussle. Also very accessible for day trips elsewhere. Its spa was definitely one of the best I have been to and was a real plus. Super spread at breakfast and we also had two great evening meals at the restaurant. Staff were friendly and very obliging to all enquiries and requests. We will be back.

We had a lovely couple of nights in this impressive hotel. We were in one of the cheapest rooms in the annex and it was perfectly fine. The bed was big and very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and that was also a good experience. We ate breakfast beside the pool which was an unexpected bonus. We used taxis to get in and out of Perugia as we were told by the hotel that the buses can take up to 90 minutes. The hotel also organised a taxi to collect us from the airport and that worked smoothly. We would definitely stay again when we plan our next trip to the area.

A luxurious retreat in a quiet location with easy access to Perugia and the hill towns of Umbria. The local bus stop is across the street from the property and is an ideal way to get to Perugia. The hotel is lovely, the landscaping with abundant roses and other plantings is quite beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
