Holiday Lodge

This is a nice place, well cared for. I’m happy to see that they take proactive measures to keep the riff raff out! People like me, I travel when work requires it, rely on these basic, clean, lower cost accommodation to help us stay profitable out here but it really stinks when we find ourselves mixed with those of society who don’t care about anybody else and don’t even care about themselves. But the management of this property are doing a fantastic job of keeping that trash at bay. Thank you! Keep up the good work! Many of us out here appreciate what you are doing, I sure do appreciate you, and I will continue to stay at your property when I am there. Thank you!

When we got to the hotel the toilet would not stop running there was still food in the fridge from the last people that stayed there and the sink was not clean

basic. quiet. same amenities as larger chains.. No problem checking in

The property is simple, clean and reliable. The only bummer was the pool was closed due to Covid, but that was out of their control

Wasn’t clean at all! It was stinky and also too many stains on the chair and also found hair and stain on their supposedly clean sheets! Will never ever go there!

Pre booked a King size bed room non-smoking, show up around 10 and check in. Get to the room and it was clearly a smoking room at some point and two double beds. My wife is allergic to cigarette smoke so we could not stay there. Go up to the front and guy says some people "stayed over" and took our king size bed. This was not acceptable and he refunded me. Had to stay across the street since all the other hotels in town were full and that place was a dump too.

Clean and had most amenities needed except for a hair dryer.

The place was ok, however we requested a non smoking room and our room smelled like smoke while our friends room smelled ok. We had to cover the pillow cases with the motel towels to sleep. Also the bed was as hard as a rock and the towels are very small, they were almost like a bigger version of hand towels but if you just want a place to stay for the night this would be ok. However I recommend staying in Fort brags if you plan to visit Fort brags like we did, the drive through the mountains back and forth through the winding roads were tortuous.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! I stay in hotels every weekend and out of the hundreds I’ve stayed in this was the worst!!! I booked a NONSMOKING room because I have severe asthma. When we got to the dingy, ugly little room, the smoke was so thick in there that I don’t have enough words to describe it. There was an ashtray on the table too. And there was a sign on the front door that said NONSMOKING. When my husband called the office, the owner blamed us, saying that on his end it said smoking and there were no rooms left. I went to the office to show him my NONSMOKING reservation and he wouldn’t look at it and just said he had no rooms and was extremely RUDE. No apology! No sympathy! Nothing! He even said to me, “What the HELL do you want me to do!”after he saw how upset I was about my asthma. He offered a refund but it was late at night on Labor Day weekend and every hotel in town and nearby towns were sold out. I had no choice but to sleep in the smoke-filled room and woke up very, very sick. The next day all the clothes in our luggage reeked of smoke.Ruined our whole vacation. Worst hotel experience of my life! This hotel should not be on Expedia!!!
