Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Cincinnati/Sharonville

The hotel was clean and close to Sports Plus Athletic Complex. Just know that breakfast is just juice and pantries now. The pool was great.

I never stayed when I Arrived it wasn’t what I expected very disappointed The manager was surprised when I told him how much I paid for the room and suggested I call to get a refund! I’ve been chatting all weekend but have yet to hear back!

We booked the king suite. Upon checking in, we gave our name, they gave us keys. No type of information about the facility at all. Got to the room. Nothing, no type of guide or map of property. Not even a do not disturb sign. The refrigerators temperature would not regulate. Water was dripping on the inside. It would be fine, then get real warm, go back to being cold. All of our food was ruined. There were no utensils, plates, pots or pans. Literally only 3 coffee mugs and 2 juice glasses. Upon leaving I commented that their website was very misleading. That was when I was told that they could have given us utensils etc if we’d have asked. ?? There was no dishwashing soap or kitchen towels. The bathroom grout was breaking apart and would stick to your feet. Very little toilet paper on the roll. Literally 1 sheet of paper towel on the roll in the kitchen. Towels has stains on them. Comforter had burn holes in it. Pool was very cloudy, not clean looking. They advertised hot breakfast- there was none. Also the doors to the stairwells were locked! Very, very disappointing.

RUN! This place is AWFUL. We had a family weekend meetup consisting of 3 rooms. RM 1 - phone didn’t work, random bedside outlets didn’t work. Counters and sinks spotty and the hair drier had something black all over it. RM 2 - the two coffee mugs in the full kitchen were dirty RM 3 - the worst. Broken phone. No cover on the sofa like in the other rooms and the sofa was filthy. The faucet in the tub was running at check in and unable to be stopped. The smoke detector was covered in aluminum foil. Upon asking for a different room we were taken to one even worse and missing furniture! Overall this place is not kept up and regardless of possible staffing struggles, if it can’t be kept clean, rooms should not be sold. The walls are paper thin and we were the audience to a romantic blowout in the room next to us. And as others mentioned the place needs a good airing. All of the floors- In the rooms and the hallways needed swept. Parking lot had trash strewn about - beer cars and restaurant litter. Sign outside on the interstate indicates the property is for sale or lease. We canceled night 2 and went to the Home2 for same cost. WORLD of difference. They even had a 10 person limit in the pool with a time sign up process. Hawthorn pool was fine early evening but FILLED with children in the evening. Go somewhere else!!!

Staff helped to make stay good when issues arose

Rom was wonderful. When I went to pay for another night front desk was trying to make me pay more than what I did the night prior. Was very rude to top it off.

This is my 3rd time staying there. Very clean and comfy, no compliments. I'd stay again

Good price, room had a kitchenette and seemed pretty clean. There was remodeling during this visit.

I had a good stay! Just a false fire 🚨 in the middle of the night!!

No room service was given in 4 night stay. Not enough toiletries given.
