Beautiful Mountain Setting, less than stellar property. The scenery in this mountain location is absolutely breathtaking! Unfortunately the rooms, amenities and services leave a lot to be desired, especially at the price. The beds were comfortable, but the room was spartan as far as decorations go. The carpet looked very dirty. The orange halls in the hotel wing are ugly and not very inviting, the windows were all water spotted and looked like they needed to be cleaned, especially in the waiting area for the spa services. The walls were paper thin. We could hear our loud and obnoxious neighbors until midnight and it almost sounded like they were in the same room with us. The food is overpriced and not that good. It cost $10 extra for the one time we used room service and the food delivered was subpar. The one meal offered that was a good value and good food, was the Mountain Meals to Go. The steam sauna (typically the best part of the spa) was closed "due to Covid," even though it was open all summer and was the main reason we chose this location, as we went for a Spa Experience. The staff in the spa were not very friendly or welcoming either. With the exception of the Yoga Instructors who did a great job. The water in the showers in the women's locker room in the spa took forever to get warm and the showers smelled of mildew. The trip was somewhat disappointing as we had hoped for a pleasant mountain spa retreat and ended up with a disappointing experience.
A/C unit clicked on and off all night long without turning on. So I couldn't sleep. The toilet wouldn’t flush unless you held down the handle for 30 seconds. Walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors tv clearly. For the price it was a terrible experience
Beautiful location. Limited restaurants and stores open due to Covid. No microwaves in rooms which was a problem for my family with a special needs kid. Prices were too expensive for food and services. Was not worth the cost.
Top roof swimming pool is not free it’s 30 $ per person per day plus rooms are not clean
For the amount of money we paid, I thought the room would have been nicer. While eating dinner at their restaurant, my husband found a hair in his food. Room service for breakfast took over an hour, and then they brought us the wrong food, so we had to wait another half an hour. The hot tub outside was full of bugs and flies; it should be cleaned out more often. This place definitely charges way more than it’s worth. Won’t come back again. But the room/hotel was clean. I’ll give them that.
Great stay. Only downside was the room service. Spent $70 on it and it was not impressed with the quality of the food. Everything else was great!
Great staff, restaurant and activities. Great for families and kids.
Great access to the mountain, but complex building with poor signage makes getting around a little more difficult than it should be.
The cliff lodge Costs are for the rich and famous. There is a lot of extra costs after you arrive. For the price, the clock radio is a CD player! No microwave. Only 2 jacuzzis open ( there are 4) for this large hotel. The shampoo was ehhhh. The dressers were old. If you eat at any of their restaurants, carry a $200 bill with you, for 1 meal.
Great experience with the hotel and staff. The convenience for tix, rentals and the slopes was amazing!
