Near perfect, room across the hall had much better view, wish I had that room. Everything else great. Breakfast, cleaning staff, desk - especially girl from Poland, all great. Location in the center of everything. Price a little high, but that’s Iceland. Thank you ! Bob

Good price, good breakfast, close to everything. Rooms a bit small but OK otherwise.

Close to all restaurants and shopping. Nearby bus stops for excursions made it easy to travel.

After a night of northern lights watching, I was exhausted. Check in was smooth, the room was cozy and warm allowing me to rush into REM. My luggage was missing and Steven at the front desk helped me get it all sorted out.

ve Excellent customer service , clean room and good amenities and Breakfast. -Ve 1.New Towel provided was dirty only one day with stains , They were replaced by Fresh ones by reception once we complained. 2. We requested a takeout bag one day for breakfast as We had a tour at 7.00 am and were rushing and staff mentioned it is not the policy . Breakfast starts at 7 am in the hotel so Just like other hotels around ,I recommend providing a basic takeout breakfast bag/basket if guest informs a day in advance that you have early morning Tour . We had booked tours every day so it would have helped us . Reykjavik Residence hotel across the street provides that .

Hotel was central and a decent location. The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent

Location is good as accessible to everything, like restaurants, tourist spots and bus stop for the tours/airport. Breakfast is okay. Room is clean.

The location is great as it’s just a few minutes walk to Harpa, Sun Voyager, Hallsgrimkirja, and the shopping streets. The lake and harbour are a bit further out but again walkable. It’s even possible to walk to Perlan in about 30 to 40 minutes. The only downside was my room was single glazed and let in quite a bit of noise from one of the bars opposite on Saturday night , but it was Winter Lights Festival, weekend. The rest of the week was OK though. It’s purely bed and breakfast though they do offer discounts in their other hotels in Reykjavik. They are all close by. You won’t go far without seeing the other Center hotels around ! The room I had had the usual facilities tv ( surprisingly with BBC1 & ITV channels )complimentary coffee and tea making faculties a fridge , no minibar. The only thing missing that Most people like was a room safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet style with a few Icelandic foods such as roll mops and crop breads and Skyr ? to add to cereals.

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel on 26th and 29th of January, 2020. We received a very cordial reception. The staff were very helpful. Room and bed were clean. Breakfast was very good. Of course, hi-fi amenities are not to be expected. The location of the property is its advantage. Restaurants, shops, bus stop and the ocean side is within five minutes walk. The only disadvantage is if any customer reaches before the check-in time he has to pay $30 for early checking. The management should give a consideration to it. Anyway we had a comfortable stay in this hotel.
