Beachcomber Beach Resort

Was able to check in early! Probably not the best property for families. Great bar area which is open to the public so lots of folks wondering around that aren’t hotel guests. Saw the police department twice on property and I had to ask their security to check for hotel status of guest by the pool due to an individual following my daughter and approaching other hotel guests. Room was very clean and staff friendly. Beach attendant Blair was super helpful!

Beds were broken, both of the doubles.

I selected this hotel on Orbitz because it included parking, internet, and pool. The fee on Orbitz had a room fee and then an additional fee. It was raining the whole time so you couldn't use the pool, when I asked why I was charged a resort fee when you could use a pool the told me its paid for parking and internet as well. This day an age, you shouldn't be paying for internet... that is a given. I specifically picked a hotel that included parking and paid extra on Orbitz for this so to be double charged was ridiculous. Overall the place is a 2 star at best. Very disappointing, for less money I stayed at a brand new state of the art Cambria hotel (with all these amenities and more).

I was very disappointed in your hotel staff. On November 7th I came into your hotel to pre check in 2 of my employees did a room we purchased did them. At the time of pre check in the front desk manager was very pleasant and nice. she told me all my employees needed to do was show their ID when they checked in. My employees went to check in and they were told there was no reservation Ana they were not listed under my name. No problem I called and they were added to the reservation for the 2nd time. My employees attempted to check in again and they weee yet denied once again. The day of check in was also my wedding day. I had to leave my reception to come deal with this mess!! My employees had to also pay $40 to park somewhere else which is unacceptable!! When I was taking care of the check in the front desk guy was very rude and disrespectful to not only me but my employees too.

My girl had to have emergency surgery on Thursday so I called booking .com to cancel or reschedule my Saturday nite stay and the were rude and said I had to pay the full price. 2 day notice was not enough notice. I have been in the hotel business for 30plus years and never heard of such giberish. I will tell every one of my customers to boycott hotels.com and the beach cooker hotel. I used hotels.com often but never again.

Uncomfortable beds, very poor air conditioner inside rooms.

Older property. Great beach front location. Noisy though.

Location was excellent, walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and convenience stores!

We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the property. We picked this place over its neighbors because of the restaurants and amenities the property offered. Restaurants and bars were closed and pools that were advertised as heated we’re not. They were ice cold and we were charged for hotel amenities. The air unit was hit or miss along with hot water and the room, that was advertised a s a Jr Suite, was not very clean. We were going to switch rooms, but that one looked even worse and had obviously been smoked in. All in all, we were very disappointed and unfortunately will not be back.
