Quality Inn and Suites New Braunfels

Everything was great up until checkout. I chose the pay at hotel option so I could pay in cash but the girl at the counter ran my card without even asking... Ruined most of my day. Other than that, not bad at all...

Upon checking out I forgot a nitric oxide booster I use for working out and to help regulate my high blood pressure. I called the hotel and spoke to an employee who said she would contact the GM and call me back. When she called me back she stated the GM told her the items had been thrown in the trash and it was policy anything with out a prescription label and/or open was to be thrown away. I explained there were three canisters. One was open and two were not, and all were in the original shipping box. The employee who I spoke to apologized multiple times and stated the GM said I was welcome to attempt to find the items in their dumpster. I pulled multiple bags of trash out and did indeed find the original box the items were shipped in. The open canister was in it and the two unopened were missing. I walked into the hotel to speak with the employee who I had spoke with over the phone. She then called the housekeeper on staff that morning. After about 10 minutes it was discovered the GM had discarded the box and taken the unopened canisters home with her. The employee then called the GM back and asked her to bring them back. The employee stated she worked at another hotel and at that location it was policy to keep anything left behind for 30 days. She apologized multiple times for my belongings being taken. This was very unprofessional for a person in a managerial position.

Our stay was nice and comfortable. Bed was big and comfy. Room was huge and clean. Smelled like they just remodeled it. The front staff (2 different ladies assisted me for check in and check out) didn’t wear masks which was concerning.

The Hotel stay was good, it could have been cleaner in areas such as the Luggage carts and the bathroom. Most hotel staff was friendly with the exception of the Morning Desk staff. They were rude

they did not have the breakfast bar open nor the pool. Wish they would've said that in the website

My carpet was dirty crums everywhere. My shower did not work. The people next to us were very loud the first night we were there. They only had one persom checking in everyone i wakted for aboit 1p mins to be checked in. They also have a notice saying mask are requored yet they are not weari them. Over all horrible experimce want my momey back

Hotel room was clean, only bad thing was the I35 traffic going by at night, very noisy! Also due to Covid the pool, and morning buffet were closed. Traffic noise would detour me from going back.

Property was nice and clean. Wish they had comfortable chairs ti sit in, in the room. Only had one office chair and they did get us another one when we asked. We evacuated due to Hurricane Laura and wanted to watch the Weather Channel but it was the only channel that did not work when it needed too! Fine tho the next day!

Staff front desk. I didnt like the hallways we're not clean. TV remote was not working call front desk they told me that needed batteries but didn't give me any
