Big Bear Lakefront Lodge

Check-in was at 3. We showed up at 315 and we’re told we couldn’t check in until 4. Left and showed up back at 430 and our room was still not cleaned and ready until after 5

It was pleasant. The location was great. Fast check in. Right on the lake. Wish the beds were updated they were noisy. But overall a really nice experience.

Our stay was amazing. The staff and management went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and well accommodated during our stay. Specifically, the manager Lisa reached out to us before our stay when she noticed we would need a accessible room. She went above and beyond to make sure we were moved to a room that would work for us. In addition to that, it unexpectedly snowed while we were there, which forced us to stay an extra night. Again Lisa stepped in and found a room for us to stay in even though it was Christmas and lodging was so scarce. The staff and management here really make a point to show how much they care about their patrons and their hope to make your stay a great one. The customer service here is exceptional. I would recommend this place hands down, and my family and I will definitely be back. They are amazing here!!!!

My family and I stayed here over Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time. It's a quiet place to stay, near everything, and right next to beautiful Big Bear Lake. Lexi was so kind and helped us when someone had accidentally blocked in our car. Can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Great deal for what it's worth! Stayed here right at the beginning on the winter season and this place was the cheapest place close to the lake. Definitely a good value! We had the "garden view," which was basically a view of their small courtyard. Kind of noisy when the kids were playing out there, but we had a nice balcony with chairs. The room was pretty big and had a nice gas fireplace with a kitchenette. The water pressure was horrible, but at least the water got super hot and stayed hot. Beds weren't too bad and overall, the room was clean. They allow dogs, which is great and there's benches and bbq grills made available right on the lake. Check-in and check-out was super fast and easy. The only thing I would recommend is getting a room on the top floor. Not an issue that the hotel can control, but if you have loud kids running around the hotel, you don't want to be in the room underneath them at this hotel.

Melissa was great and staff as well. Plus they were so helpful and considerate that they allowed us to check out lil latee.

The young lady at the desk was awesome. I'd come back here just for her. I wish it said it is a gas fireplace. I spent $25 on firewood that I didn't need. The beds are great, the room was clean, the view was lovely. Creme for the coffee would be nice.

Bed was not comfortable and place needs a lot of upgrading

The service was exceptional, Melissa was very attentive, friendly and gave us a great welcome, the lake view was really nice. I would suggest more consideration from other guest to turn down the TV volume or from the hotel to enforce the noise level at least until certain time during the night so others can enjoy a more comfortable sleep after enjoying the outstanding lake and sky view. And let enjoy the mountain noise or No noise!

The pictures are better than the actual place, the staff were very helpful and friendly, unfortunately, the room and bathroom were dirty. I would not recommend coming to this place.
