Hotel Emporio Acapulco

Last Year was better...We got a Room where our AC wasn’t working someone went up to fix it but it was the same. The room had a stench like sewer. The furniture is out dated. What I love is the staff is super friendly they make you feel very welcome. They’re strict on the social distancing which is a plus every time u enter the premises they take your temperature. And the Pool too I enjoyed it also the views. I’ll come back here only if they update the furniture and fix their AC and smell in room. Otherwise I’ll just stay somewhere else.

Desde el momento que llegamos todo el personal nos trato con amabilidad. Debido a la pandemia, checan la temperatura y te dan gel antibacterial cada vez que entras a las instalaciones. Todo el personal trae careta por higiene. Estuvimos en el piso 8. La habitación tenia un sellp ee higiene al entrar. La vista al mar es impresionante. Lo unico malo es que no ay suficientes botes de basura en la playa, y tristemente los turistas dejan basura. Una sugerencia es que el hotel ponga letreros en los elevadores y al salir a la playa recordando a los huespedes de la importancia de mantener la playa limpia. Fue una experiencia maravillosa.

It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Acapulco bay

El servicio es excelente. Todos son muy amables. El hotel es bonito, sin embargo se siente un poco viejo en los pasillos y el exterior con las plantas. Los elevadores casi nunca funcionaron simultáneamente, y un elevador a la hora del check out fue el infierno: llegaban llenos a nuestro piso y era imposible salir. Lo mismo el estacionamiento, el cual no existe y es obligatoriamente con valet parking, y en el check out tardamos media hora en obtener el auto. De limpieza en serio tienen todas las estrellas! La atención de todos en serio es excelente. Sin duda me volvería a quedar aquí, solo recordar salir temprano el día de check out. Y sin duda Acapulco Costera es mucha mejor opción que Diamante, allá es una tumba en las noches.

No AC , nothing like pictures and when I called for help with AC nobody ever helped

Not sure where to start First room: A/C did not work, it was 80 deg inside the room and the humidity really high Second room: we asked for a different room and they gave us another one, A/C was working good but the water coming out of the sink faucet smelled like sewer water, it made you sick because it left that smell in the sink, we complained about it and nothing was done so we asked to be moved to another room Third room, no water smell but the A/C did not work, we asked to be check and the cleaning lady asked to be check, some body cane and said it was set up wrong, he touched some buttons and said, in 20 minutes you see the difference, 20 hours went by and the room still 85’deg, we complained again and nobody came, we gave up and put up with a room that it was hard to sleep because we were sweating a lot, not sure how this can be one of the best hotels there, since other people had the same problems, we saw them asking for another room and when I asked people if the A/C was working in their room, a lot of them said no People in the front desk were very nice.

Property ain't cheap and amenities at the room and furniture are old... I think they should invest in remodelation overall.. Staff was not friendly and was not advised of things such as returning the beach towel card at the end. In most hotels i have stayed i don't even return the room keys and here they were making a big deal for it even wanted me to charge me for the towels because if i didnt have the beach towel card was because i didnt return them... Would not stay here again

I think a little more cleanliness around the poos and grounds as well as beach would be in order.

Great facility with nice pools. Very poor service and over priced for Mexico. Over a 2 hr wait for food orders and cold food (with it being 30 degrees out) If you have friends staying in another hotel it will cost $40 for them to swim in the pool or to even go up to your room. I guess I’m old School when I think if I want a friend to come to a room that I’m paying for it should be ok. (I get the whole not using the pool)
