Clarion Pointe Corydon

This is one of those hotels where you wonder if you're going to make out alive. There is no easy entrance to get into the hotel. You have to pull into the back parking lot of a vape shop to get to the hotel. They are in the midst of remodeling but my hope is that they are far from done. It took a long time to be checked in; the person seemed to be busy watching videos on their laptop. Check-in was easy though when they did help us. People were smoking right outside the doors so the hotel smelled like cigarettes. There was dog poop all over the grounds and ironically right next to the empty dog poop baggy receptor. We used the washer and dryer and they were NOT clean - I had to pick stuff out of it like leaves and dirt. The doors closed very loudly, making it difficult to sleep and stay asleep. Breakfast during COVID was terrible - it was like being offered what you find in the bottom of a child's backpack: squished granola bars, bad fruit, etc. Most of the vending machines were out of drinks. You had to go to the front counter to buy water. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Overall, was very pleased with the stay. We were in town from Texas for a funeral. Room was very clean .. only complaint I have are the walls are super thin. You could hear everything. I could hear the person next door blowing their nose. I could hear people chatting up and down the hallway... seems like no insolation whatsoever. Didn't get much sleep due to this but very clean hotel.

We arrived very late and got up and left the next morning, so little interaction. Everything went smoothly.

Comfortable room. Not the best pandemic breakfast.

Good friendly service, told us where to eat and some caves tours to explore

Under renovation . Under COVID circumstances it was OK but their are other options in the area

Breakfast was horrible. I get with the current covid-19 virus breakfast items had to be prepackaged. We were offered mini honey buns, fruit on the bottom yogurt, blueberry muffin and juice. No cereal, no breakfast sandwiches, no milk. All of those things arrive prepackaged. Other than the breakfast it’s a very nice hotel. Can’t comment on the pool as it was closed due to no fault of their own.

Accessible to Lanesville Ball Park. Pet friendly.

The staff was very friendly upon arrival. We were suprised to find a microwave and refriderator. Most places forget about this...
