Kalisti Hotel & Suites

So to start off the hotel is very nice, the pool area is great with a bar a large area to sit down, great lounge options. One thing to keep in mind is that the pool is not heated, although I realized that almost all of the pools in Greece are not heated, so if it is chilly (like in the middle of September) the pool is pretty much un-usable. But there is also a hot tub nearby. The staff at the hotel are all very nice. The big issue is the rooms. The rooms are horrible and the pictures are purposely made to make the rooms look nice and long. The rooms are tiny, and their layout is very bad. There is absolutely no where to place your luggage. there is an unusable space in front of the bathroom that i don't know what it was for. We had to move the chair which was in front of the vanity just to find room for our suitcase. We were traveling through Greece for 2 weeks on our Honeymoon so we had 2 large suitcases. The pictures are very deceiving. We even asked to pay to upgrade our rooms and apparently the hotel had no other rooms, everything was booked. The bathroom is probably the worst part of the room as there is no shower curtain and the shower is right next to the toilet, so when you shower the toilet and the entire bathroom is just covered in water, which is not very pleasant. The bathroom is also extremely tiny. Also there is a tiny, computer monitor sized TV, on the wall. Not sure what the point of it is. You can see some pictures below.

Located in the city, walking distance to the bus station, the caldera shops and restaurants. The property is immaculate, outstanding breakfast every morning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

neat hotel in a great location walking distance to best part of Fira. every time we walked in the door was like our private oasis away from the world pout there, fantastic breakfast and personnel will definitely consider to go back.

It was terrible, a rip off. The breakfast was horrible, I couldn’t eat anything! The room they gave us was totally different from the one we booked. We were supposed to get a room with 2 king beds and 1 queen sofa bed, a suite with a view. We ended with a room with 1 king bed and a double sofa bed and the view were other beautiful. A total scam for $475/night. Worst experience ever!!!

Great hotel, brilliant location and pool. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want & staff couldn’t do enough for you.
