Grand Hotel Saint Michel

Great service I had a wonderful birthday, pampered me at a hotel with fruit tray, gourmet cookie almonds, Turkish hammam with massage bed and already a pampering massage, thanks to the lovely hotel staff. Hot drinks, cookies free

Very well located but our room super small but staff very nice

I loved it that it had a spa. The staff are extremely helpful, very pleasant and smiley. Great conversations with the staff and quick service! Breakfast was excellent! The best! We were picked up by our driver at 3AM. But the staff quickly served us coffee and croissants. Very considerate and thoughtful!

The entire stay was wonder. The staff was nice and friendly.

Conveniently located, the rooms were very clean, bathroom and shower were great!!! The staff especially Lillian was superb, she went out of here way to make our stay more enjoyable. There were plenty others but did not get their names!!!

We arrived early and greeted by friendly staff. The woman at desk said she had just gotten our reservation sent over by hotels.com. She said our room would be ready in about an hour and recommended a place we could grab lunch. They were able to store our luggage for us. When we returned, our room was ready. The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated. Our room had a strange strong odor when we entered but it could be the cleaning products they use and it did dissipate in a couple of hours. We got the superior twin room and it was spacious enough for my daughter and I and had plenty of storage areas to store our things. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The beds were comfortable. My only complaints about the room are the carpet needs to be replaced. It had several stains on it. Carpet in hotel rooms gross me out anyhow but when you can visibly see stains even more so. The room was hard to get cool enough for sleeping and the duvets made us too hot and there was not a sheet that we could have put on us, just duvet. Check out was confusing as the nice gentleman who was new couldn’t find our paperwork. I saw it and pointed it out that it was ours but they had wrong room number on it. He said he couldn’t find us in computer and I tried to explain we prepaid via hotel.com which he didn’t understand what that was. Finally I showed him my confirmation on my phone and he just charged me Paris tax which I believe was correct. Location is good and in safe area.

I was in Paris for a wedding and needed a hotel to accommodate three people This hotel came through. The staff were very friendly the hotel was clean and quiet and very accessible to transit and most sites were in walking distance. I would highly recommend it.

The property, being a few steps from Jardin du Luxembourg, Sorbonne, and both Saint Germain and Saint Michel, is near all places of interest in Paris. I walked most of the time and not once needed to take the metro. There was an issue with my reservation and I almost thought I had to look for another hotel upon checking in after a train ride from Italy. However, the front desk staff found a solution and gave me a room upgrade with free massage and breakfast (I think). All in all a positive experience.

VEry comfortable room and very nice staff. The hallway is a but dark and old, but the rest is perfect.

Good location and friendly staff. Our hotel room is along the corridor and there is no door latch or peephole. Find it quite risky as for fear anyone can open the door when they pass by.
