Super 8 by Wyndham Marion

For an economy hotel this was a very good place to stay. The price was reasonable the staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We were traveling around Shawnee and this was a nice central location. I wasn’t looking for a lot of amenities because we were away from 9:00AM until 10:00 PM every day. I love starting my day with a Belgium Waffle and cereal and their complementary breakfast was spot on. For my taste and money Super 8 is a tremendous value.

Guests were in public areas without masks and clerk said nothing. It was breakfast pickup area. Hotel was clean and convenient, staff friendly but didn’t stop people without masks. I Won’t be back.

No elevator is a bummer for an elderly couple that has to carry their bags to the third floor!

When I got there immediately I was thinking well this doesn’t look as nice as the picture at all. Get my room , walk in , the smell of cigarettes was the first thing that hit me. I closed the door and noticed the chain was ripped off and no longer there. Got the ac on and started walking around. It was filthy. I called up to the office and asked if I could switch rooms bc of the issues above. She switched rooms. Apologized though it wasn’t her fault. When I got to the new room it was night and day difference. I called back down to the office and thanked her. I felt better in the new room though I doubt I would stay there or any super 8 again.

Everything went smoothly, thank you. Check in was fast and the clerk was courteous and helpful.

Great services, they are under renovation outside

The hotel was clean and workers were very friendly. Our only problem was our room smelled of smoke bad. But other than that a good stay.

Checking in late the customer service was just rude. For the price, the room was ok and somewhat clean. However, if you want to get some sleep and actual rest I would select anywhere else. You can easily hear people talking in the corridors and constant chime of people entering and leaving the build will wake you up. I was woken up every 10 minutes between 2:30 - 4 am with people checking in. Worth paying the extra money and staying at one of the many hotel options.

Customer service wasn’t good, the room smelt of water damage, and there was visible mold on top of the shower. I would not stay here again.

The only thing I have to complain about is that the bed was like sleeping on the floor!!! It was hard as a rock, very uncomfortable. Everything else was great!!!
